Lyra walks into the common room and tells everyone/the room, "We have a new Ravenclaw: Jatar. And there's still a few people that have yet to be sorted, so hopefully we'll get one or two more." biggrin
[[I'm sort of wondering where all the Ravenclaws that got sorted since about July have gone. Besides Kisaki and Tsuki, who I saw more recently. I was looking at the sorting thread, and we had about 8 people sorted into Ravenclaw that have now disappeared, and only 2 who have not. Well hopefully we'll get a couple people who are active, and Sam will hopefully reappear soon.]]

((Sorry I've been gone so long! My program at school is currently kicking my butt, so gaia time has been sadly limited this semester. sad ))

If you're ever wondering about something like that again, I would suggest either posting in the SFQ or PMing the Head of House, or someone similar. That way you don't have to wait until someone actually tells you. biggrin
I'm Lyra, a 6th year (I think) and the Deputy Head. None of the other 6th years like to show up either. Oh well.]]

 Sam answers the door's question and walks into the common room. Standing at the top of the stairwell leading down into the main common room, Sam looked out and smiled. The common room, as usual, was empty, and the light that filtered through the large wall to ceiling windows left patterns on the floor. The large book cases were kept out of the sun, for every Ravenclaw knew that the sun would damage them. Above the towering book cases was the landing that led to the dormitories. Sighing, Sam realized how much this room had become her home in the past 4 years here at Hogwarts. A sadder sigh followed after Sam thought that she only had 3 more years until she would be done with school.
