Lt. Brookman
Same deal, I'm itching to get the Hollywood marine rules, but seeing as these were only produced in the US WD, tough luck for the others.

Hollywood marine?

Yay! One more Guardsmen Squad and Command squad, and I'll have the minimal troop requirements! biggrin

Lol. Anyone help me with this. What should I make, a Star trek themed infantry army, or a AC force?

Star Trek. Gotta love them red-shirts, and AC is just a cheap way of getting out of painting the infantry.

Okay, first off, what's a Holywood/Movie Marine?

Secondly, what's AC stand for?

1. Cheesy rules that would super-charge marines into the killing machines as portrayed in the fiction.

2. Armoured Company.

So DE, when are we going to see your army list for this army then? whee

Probly, though I dont mind painting, I like tanks. But I think I'll probly try to make them both, eventually xp But for starters I'll do trek. Now my rough ideas for them, please put in advice as I dont have the dex crying

Hq-Command squad
Senior officer, maybe a commisar, medic deffenitly, Communication thingy sweatdrop

Elites-Tech priest(His name will either be Laforge, or Scotti)
Storm Troopers(Id probly do their paint scheme from the Enterprise series based on the Earth fighting guys)

Troops-Basic Gaurdsmen, all with red armour and black fabric

Fast Attack-I dont know, any ideas

Heavy support-Weapons squads

Once I find the time I'm going to finish up on my (highly illegal) Vostroyan combat patrol. I've been busy basing them with the urban basing kit and once you get the hang of it, it can produce some nice variations on the basic Vostroyan models.

Vostroyan First Born combat patrol
- Close Order Drill
- Hardened Fighters
- Iron Discipline
- Sharpshooters
- Special equipment: Carapace armour

Junior officer - Plasma pistol, power weapon, Honorifica Imperialis and Iron Discipline.
Veteran - Medic with laspistol and ccw.
Veteran - Laspistol, ccw and surveyor.
Guardsmen (2) - Plasma guns (2).

Veteran sergeant - Bolt pistol and ccw.
Guardsmen (9) - Grenade launcher and lascannon.

Veteran sergeant - Laspistol and ccw.
Guardsmen (9) - Flamer and mortar.

All squads have carapace armour and the hardened fighters doctrine.

Grand total: 401 pts.

Holy shiat! Someone built a couple of 40k scaled Ragnarok tanks! Schweet![sic] She looks a bit like a KV-2, but in the future I'm going to try and build one myself, for a future Death Korps army maybe.

I have two questions, one specifically for DarkElf27 and the other as a general question.

1.) In the beginning it seemed like all you did was talk smack about the Guard, DarkElf, but now you seem to respect them more. I might be wrong on that part but I am curious as to the change.

2.) Would it be ok for my to post lists for comments and suggestions?
