the chaos space marines rock!!!!!thier so diverse and the most fun to personalise.i have a biker who has a white scars space marine bike but i chaosed it up and it looks brilliant

Hmm, yes. My sarca-matic failed to detect the sarcasm because he used it a way unfamiliar to me. He used too much detail, a simple answer would have been:
"Say, this a damn good conversation we have here, I think we can talk about sticking skulls on plastic models all day long."
Where the sarcasm is evident.
Mykal's sentence I do not get, the reference to others makes it confusing and the potential for conversations on conversions is still decent.
Im sorry Mykal, but your use of sarcasm drew up to many blanks and errors.
Maybe we should make an "Art of Sarcasm" Thread?

The point was that there's more to Chaos than ferkin spikes and skulls. Seems GW's leading it down that direction though, with all their spikeyskullbitz, and that pile-o-skulls base for the hero basing kit. Personally, I think that if you're interested in Chaos, do something different rather than stick a bloody spike on him. It's not even imaginative, and in all fairness, it's hardly pulled off well.

Personally, I've always thought of the skulls on a spike thing to be more of an Ork thing. Ya know, the whole Boss-pole and all.
What I like about the Chaos of 40K (and WHFB) is that it's so variable. You can choose your army to be dark and brooding, to be erractic and bloodthirsty, or even to be... erotic? Meh, it works. Point is, you can portray Chaos however the Hell you like to, so I can understand who it can be irritating to see how they'd all be funneled down one exact image.

Well the only thing thats available is indeed skulls, heads, and other body parts to make the chaos decorations look evil. I plan to do more with my commander though, I dont think he will have any decorations.

A challenge for all you clever modellers. (As this relates to rules and is mostly theory, I'm posting here rather than in Modelling/Painting.) I am pretty much dead set on using Black Templar Chaplain Grimaldus as my Word Bearer Dark Apostle. He needs a special movement mode - strictly speaking, any will do. I would like to give him Daemonic Speed, however. How would you model that in order to be WYSIWYG-compliant without ruining his beautiful pose?
