thats possible but i think my Emperor as a Dreadnaught idea is sweet. I could take a Grey Knight dread from forge world and trick it out. and spray it gold

That is a good question. I think it might be because the Emperor isn't really in his body. IIRC, his soul is in the warp, so he would not be able to control a dread.

If you've read the old fluff, particularly the Draco series, it talks about the Star Child, the reincarnation of the Emperor. It is in the warp, but cannot reach its full rebirth because part of the Emperor is still in his body.
And, were you talking about the Astronomicon? Because if you were, IIRC, it's powered by hundreds if not thousands of psychers, not the Emperor.

If you are reading Draco then you should know that the Astronomicon is in the Himilayas, or what once was, and that the Emperor's throne room is where GW headquarters is.
