I own a Cannonball and a Yamaha. Tenor sax, I have played bari on occasion. I have played an Allegra tenor, which is a type of Selmer I believe, its tone was okay.

Same size as all Tenor saxophones. Pretty much standard size and make. Just like all the sax's today that are like the Mark VI. (only horns i know out that are different are the Keilwerths) I think the Allegro's are a bit overpriced but are a decent horn. Wait he said Allegra.... *looks it up* nope i was right it's called Allegro Anywho the Allegro's a bit overpriced for it's quality. i'd rather look for a YTS-52 or a YTS 475 They tend to be much cheaper and are a good step horn if your not wanting to get a beginner sax. Course the Yamaha Z series is freaking awsome and it's too bad i already have a 875 Custom instead of the new flashy EX model with it's G3 neck.

I have been a saxophone player since 6th grade in middle school. I have begun with the Alto Saxophone (and I sucked my first year),
For 7th Grade I switched to Tenor Saxophone and was an average player. in 8th Grade, I was placed in the middle school's wind ensemble and playing Tenor Sax, got a spot in the All Region Band.
HIGH SCHOOL
As a freshman, there was a huge demand for Alto Sax players in the marching band, so I volunteered to switch to Alto, I placed in the wind ensemble. For the jazz band that year though, I played Baritone Saxophone. Sophomore year, I still played Alto, and auditioned for the All Region Band Again, placing again.... Junior Year, we needed a Tenor Sax Player and I chose to return. After marching season, the directors moved me to Bass Sax. Senior year in high school, I played and marched Bass Saxophone, it was the s**t~!
After I graduated, I moved to Soprano Saxophone, and thats what I currently own.

OBLIVIONxBLOODxSHEDx Terra of the Lilies Rukia Kuchiki500 OMG! So I was cleaning my room right? (you wouldn't know that) And so I totally found 2 not one....but 2 Alto saxsaphones! So now i get to learn how to play it!!! ...Two? And you didn't see them? xd
How big is your room? Because it would be impossible to hide my alto in my room... I wouldn't be surprised if a rat or some type of animal was living inside the alto while it was lost inside her room.Anyways, I play Tenor Sax and this would be my 2 and 1/2 year playing and being the 1st chair moving on to high school to attend marching band and the other bands. oh? thats not very funny....now im nervous DX
