Name of Your Band: The Showband of the Southwest - The Longhorn Band (Alumni)
What Your Uniform Looks Like: A deranged cowbow outfit. Okay, specifically, a white cowboy hat (prone to getting smushed), a burnt orange and white blazer with Texas on the back and fringe (shake that fringe!), burnt orange pants with a white zig zag down each side, white shoes, and a bolo with Texas on it. Phew!
Favorite Song to Play: There's a lot, but as far as symphony band goes, Gandalf, An American Elegy, Prelude Siciliano and Rondo, stuff like that. As far as marching band goes, El Toro Caliente, Malaguena, basically anything with a good beat that involves belting.
Interests: Drawing, computers, anime, manga, video games, and of course, music!

Any other Additional Info: I WAS a band member, but I left because I needed to work more on my major and couldn't dedicate enough time to it. Plus I had accumulated a lot of fond memories over the years (since 7th grade) and decided it was time to pack the French horn/mellophone up for a while. Also, band had become less like something everyone enjoyed and strived to do well in and more of a slave labor/sell out. Plus, as far as my fellow bandmates were concerned, if I didn't have an alcoholic beverage in my hand, I only mattered to a select few who also left the band. I still miss band terribly, and would go back if things changed, but something tells me things have only gotten worse. cry

I cry my eyes out when I mess up and I end up having a breakdown.
Despite this, I'm still in love with band.

What Your Uniform Looks Like: um wow, lessee, our jacket's navy blue with gold buttons in rows of three down the front, a cape that's blue in front orange on the inside, white pants (which are a pain) and white shoes, with white socks, a navy blue and gold hat with a white plume (Chicken). and white gloves but pit doesn't get gloves.
Favorite Song to Play: Scherzo

Personality: Weeeell, MY oppinion is, odd, bassically, and naturally too I refuse to not be myself so everyone else can deal with me, I'm prone to saying random things and doing random things, I enjoy people laughing at me so i'm constantly striving to make my life a comedy, and being a drama kid I'm surrounded by...oddness? If someone asks me to do something i usually am not afraid to do it so people end up asking me to do something and then telling me to stop right after...People tell me I talk a lot too....guess i do but whats wrong with that?

Personality: My mind's a bit off-balance. HA. I'm pretty lazy, but I get really obsessed with random things at a time and I'll be *very* devoted to them. I like people who can take a joke, but at the same time, won't be rude. I'm a regular band geek; I find band humor very, very amusing.
Any other Additional Info: I've been playing flute for six years now. I joined my boundary-school's marching band this year (I'm a sophomore, so I joined a year late, eheh). I absolutely love it. My Love's also in the band. Amazing trumpeter .... oh, man!
I had the flute solo/duet with Saxophone soloist in this year's show.
I like to play video game music, etc. I brought my flute to AX '07 and got some cosplayers to dance for me/give me money. S'quite cool, I must say.
At any rate, that's about it.
