Mi sulked as she walked through the park, dragging her suitcase behind her. Things couldn't get any worse. As she carried on walking she bumped into the back of someone. Realing back she raised a hand and bowed in apology. "I'm sorry I..." Looking up she noticed it was a cute guy, but in his hands he had two knives. Out of all the people she could have walked into it had to be a mugger! "L... Look. I don't have any money. A cat stole my purse and... I..." Slowly trying to walk back she tripped over her suitcase.
To Luquin's surprise, Nixon managed to catch him. Immediately upon being grasped, Luquin could feel Nixon's strength. It was true that the two were on two different wavelengths however Luquin knew that he would be able to match himself with Nixon."Swords? Ugh that's a child's weapon. Anyone can fight with an extended blade but it take true skill to master a weapon like myself. Due to my short reach you cannot rely on the safety of range to protect you like other weapons. My greatest strength is that I am a close combat weapon. When you lock into close combat with an opponent you don't have time to worry, doubt yourself, or exercise some elaborate plan, because one false move and you could wind up dead. Most people are unable to calm their thoughts and focus on the battle while in close quarters combat. After all its our natural instinct to avoid or to run from harm. But your different Nixon. I can feel the strength within your soul. With a little practice you should be fine but don't think this will be easy. To mater me means that you will have to master your own body." An image of Luquin appeared in the gleam of his blades. He had his arms crossed and stared at Nixon with a serious expression. "Ok let's get this over with. I'm going to attempt to match your wavelength." Luquin suddenly paused when he heard a soft voice. He glanced over and noticed a blonde haired girl. Luquin's face became beat red as his fear of women kicked in. Nixon should have felt the weight of the daggers almost triple due to the sudden spike in Luquin's wavelength.
Nixon held the daggers in his hands, this Luquin guy was powerful indeed. His wavelength was calm and yet quite dense. "You say that but you misunderstand. The reason I was paired with a sword was because we used precision while fighting which took alot of brain power to pull off. As for close range combat I am still wobbly on it but I am sure I can adjust. Now I want you to to keep your wavelength as high and as stable as possible so I can match it and strengthen it." Nixon said before he felt someone smaller than himself walk into him from behind. He turned around slowly to see a timid young girl looking up at him. Nixon tried not to laugh when she thought he was a mugger. "Oh no my dear I am no thief of any kind, I am a meister and a student at the academy and these daggers are my temporary partner Mr Luquin Reins." He said. Nixon brought the two daggers together and held them with his left hand. He extended out his right hand to the girl offering to help her up. "May I assist you up by any chance?" he asked politely. It was an inconvenience she had interrupted them but she was a lady who was in need of aid and Nixon made sure he helped all women if they seemed ike thy needed help. He did not recognize her so she must have been some of the few he never got round to analyzing. She must have been a student as she was obviously was moving into the area. Suddenly Nixon felt Luquin's wavelength flux and then spike up. The daggers became heavier than before, Nixon could feel Luquin gettting nervous. To counteract the spike Nixon used his compression abilities to release a huge amount of his own wavelength he stored inside his soul. His aura slightly visible now and the daggers now weighing almost nothing. Nixon sighed before staring at the daggers. "Luquin, you ok?" he asked.
Mi sighed with relief and accepted the guys hand. Standing up she brushed the dust off herself and adjusted her glasses. "Sorry about that. Today hasn't been the best for me. I don't know where my new school is and all my savings were stolen by a cat." Her own cat ears drooped down as her depression sank in again. When the guy started emitting an aura Mi's ears stuck up again with interest and she dashed over to him to examine him. "Wow. Thats pretty. Are you some kind of superhero?"
Luquin was feeling very uncomfortable. Beads of Sweat fell from his head and the dagger's blades fogged up. Nixon tried his best to calm Luquin down but it was no use. A frustrated scream could be heard from the blades. "I'm getting the hell out of here." When the blonde haired girl drew closer to Nixon that was the final straw. Luquin broke away from Nixon and reverted back to his human form. Luquin was kneeling on the ground but he quickly crawled away and scrambled to his feet. He ran to a nearby tree, which was several feet away from the two. He bent over to catch his breath. He was in a panic but tried to regain his composure. His face was bright red and his hands were shaking. He immediately fetched a cigarette to calm his nerves. Luquin looked towards the two but when he locked eyes with the blonde haired girl, he instantly shifted his gaze to the ground. Luquin's fear of women was something that he had yet to conquer but no one was perfect.
When the daggers changed into a guy and he ran to a tree only to look her in the eye and then avert his gaze, Mi pouted. She grabbed her cat ears and glared at him. People often acted strangely when they noticed her ears, so that how she explained his reaction. Some people called her a demon, others tried to pull them off thinking they were fake. But Mi liked her cat ears. "What's your problem? Haven't you ever seen a girl with cat ears before?" If Mi was any brighter she would have realized that there was hardly any girls born with cat ears and the chances he'd seen one before were slim to none.
In the branches of the tree Luquin ran to, a loud yawn could be heard. The noise had woken Aikawa up from his pleasant tree branch snooze. Stretching out his legs and arms as he looked around, he dislodged some leaves and twigs which fell around and on Luquin.
Aikawa saw Nixon first. Some kinda weirdo to be wearing a tie with a hood, but this city is a little weird to begin with. Then he noticed the catgirl. Those are some realistic looking accessories, and with the glasses too... Rumi would be drooling rainbows if she saw that ensemble. Then he sniffed and finally figured out what he was smelling. Looking down, Aikawa saw Luquin hyperventilating just underneath him. While he didn't begrudge a man the right to catch his breath, it didn't change that his panicked wheezing woke him from a lovely dream about whipped cream and handsome men so Aikawa was a little miffed. "Oi!" he said irritably to Luquin, "Do you mind?"

Nixon had never seen anything like it, Luquin changed back and literally ran away from the girl. Nixon lowered and sealed is wavelength back up and turned quickly back round to the girl. "I am so sorry for my friend, he has had a bitt of a rough day. If you will excuse me I better make sure he is ok," he sid before pointing towards the giant castle in the distance. "Over there is the academy you are most likely looking for. I am a first year and I take it so are you." he said, kind of guessing since she was new to the area. He held out his hand one more time for the girl to shake. "I am Nixon Jackerjack by the way," he said while trying not to blush. After the encounter he rushed over to his partner to check up on him. "You doing ok now?" Nixon asked a bit concerned.

Mi shook Nixon's hand before he went to check on his partner. Looking over to the castle he'd pointed to Mi placed a hand on her chin. She was pretty sure that wasn't where she went when she came in for the tour. She took a considerable time trying to think of what the guide had said. It was something about not being allowed to go somewhere without permission. Sitting down on the spot she put all her concentration into trying to remember. So much concentraion that she inadvertadly released her Soul Protect. Mi didn't notice because her thoughts were elsewhere. But anyone who could see or detect souls would notice the large cat eared sphere surrounding her that practically screamed "WITCH".
Sagami walked down the paved walkways of the park, his cat familiar in tow. "Ah, it feels nice outside!" he commented, stretching his arms in the air. The breeze simply felt too nice to stay cooped up inside. Well, maybe that was just him but who said using his powers for a good reason was bad? "Kuppu- Hey! Don't just go running off!" he said, addressing his cat as it took off into the distance. Quickly running after it, his familiar had jumped into the lap of a cat girl who was sitting down. Sighing he made his way over to the girl. Now that he got a good look, he noticed that she was a witch."Kuppuru, are you trying to pick up girls lately or something? I'm sorry about my cat, miss." Sagami apologized.

+ Weather Control: Since air is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves, Sagami can, to some level (let's just say he can't do anything as major as making some enormous tornado to destroy the whole city), can manipulate the weather.
+ Earth Manipulation: Can create, shape and manipulate any "Earthen" elements including most solid objects, specifically all minerals and mineral compositions regardless of their state (mountain, boulder, sand or dust), dirt, soil, etc. Sagami cannot control glass or any artificial/man made (ex: plastic) substance.
+ Healing earth: Can use earth to heal themselves or others but is not able to heal every ailment/injuries especially if they are too severe.
+ Spirit Familiar: Sagami can summon a spirit familiar (usually a tiger, lion, anything feline really) to come to his aid by playing or whistling a special tune. The familiar only lasts for a limited period of time (10 to 15 posts).
+ Enhanced Speed via jet propulsions (using compressed air pressure for supersonic bursts).
+ Flight: Thanks to his tengu blood, he can sprout black wings and fly.
As soon as the cat jumped onto Mi's lap her concentration was broken. Looking at the cat her face lit up and, naturaly, she immediatly forgot about what she was thinking about. Picking the cat up she cuddled it with a smile. "❤Nyan Nyan Nyan!❤" When the owner came over Mi set the cat down and stood up, brushing the dust off her skirt. "That's okay. I love cats!" Her cats ears went flat as her gaze went off to the side. "Except that one cat that mugged me...."
Luckily for Sagami, the girl didn't seem to mind one bit that his cat had an over-affectionate streak as of late. "That's good to hear, minus the cat mugging you. That is a certainly strange and unheard coincidence." he replied. A cat mugging a person? He simply couldn't imagine such a thing happening unless the cat was either one, a human in cat form, or two, a very large cat. Kuppuru oft times ran off with some of his food but certainly never mugged him. "You know, you look strangely familiar. I'm not trying to sound creepy or anything but have I seen you before?"

Mi looked closely at the guy for a few seconds with a look of intense thought. She stayed like that for a few moments before smiling. "Sorry, I have no idea who you are." To Mi there was no such thing as being subtle. "So lets introduce ourselves. My name is Mi Miki, though you can call me Mi-Chan. I recently transfered to the DMA from Osaka." Her head then dropeed as she remebered why she was in the park in the first place. "Oh yeah and I'm lost..."
Sagami's face immediately brightened as if he had gone through a major revelation. "That must be it! I must have seen you on campus." he said. It was the only explanation of the facts. So he had seen her after all, even if it had been at a distance. "I'm Sagami Usui. I'm a student at the DMA as well. It's very nice to meet you Mi-chan." he replied happily, patting her shoulder affectionately. "Did you need help getting back to the DMA?"

Mi literaly squeeled with excitement and pressed up against Sagami. "Would you? Would you really? I've only been there once before on a tour. So I don't know the way." Backing off she pulled out the paper she had written the direction on and showed it to Sagami. "I wrote down the directions but I don't know what went wrong." The small piece of note paper had a few lines on it which were probably streets. But the ink was smudged and the paper had been covered with drawings of a feline nature.
