He's basically like a priest, but because he's an alien; space priest, somewhere in there it works out as him being a symbol of hope which is for the blue lanterns, so he gets a ring. Basic gist from what is being said, though I might be wrong.....meh stopped really caring, don't feel well, uber sicky. dramallama

I've become conflicted regarding Match's death. At first it seemed like a good opportunity to hop on, but I think I'm getting cold feet. I dunno.... I'm just not sure I'm ready for Match to be a different person. But no one else seems to be feeling the same....
Para, how are you feeling about it?

I like the idea for Silvia to die. It opens up all the opportunities I want for her, and gives me more time to focus on Kitten.
But if you don't like the idea don't do it Stray. Seriously, if you don't want him to die, then don't let him. It's that easy.

Just read the last few pages, demongirl, and you should be up to speed.
I dunno, I think most of my concern comes from the fact that he was only born a few days ago. He hasn't really even opened up yet. No one is really close to anyone else at all, actually. Supergirl and Powergirl have graciously opened their hearts to him, but even still it's like... I dunno. I know it fits the character development I'd had for him.
I'm just trying to look at the emotional aspects of it... how it would affect his relationships with everyone. Who would hug him when he came back?

I think that if he died, it would make them even more appreciative to have him back when he shows up.

I said it was too soon from the start, I mean he's a reticent character and we haven't had any soliloquies from him so there really isn't a lot of attachment there, I'm sorry to say.

Well, it could be Silvia, Match and Aqua Lad that get trapped with Grundy and only Silvia gets killed. Then Match goes berserk and kills Grundy after an epic battle and returns the sad hero. I think that would put him and Aqua Lad in good stead with the rest of the team, plus there would be lots of bonding time while they're all searching and fighting as a unit.

I like that a lot. It can lead to a different kind of development that works well. And if Sylvia is the only team character to die then they can all mourn her properly together, and that will be bonding too.

I also like the plan, more character development is always a good thing, however I think Tempest was going to have his character die as well, and weren't Match and Silvia are supposed to be on different teams, wouldn't that make it hard to bring them together?
BTW, I have an idea for how we're getting to, but I think I'll surprise everyone mrgreen

Oh, was he? Even still, fewer people means those dead get to be mourned more in a more specific way. I dunno, it just seems like the impact of death is inversely proportional to the amount of people who died.
XP And you don't have to follow exactly what Match said (even though it's totally awesome, right?) I figure Kryptonians are never very far away anyway. Just a 'whoosh' and he can be there.

I like this plan! This is a good plan!
Though I'm not sure if Tempest actually was going to kill TL or not. We will have to ask him.
Though if he wants to I may have a way to bring him back... It will have to be discussed though.
