Angeles Valentine No, I don't mean bird people and lizard men, I mean bloodlines that are birds or are Lizards. Think: Legend of The Guardians. I think that's probably gona be a no go too =/

tinymini7 can someone tutor me in battle rping...well rping in general. The best way to improve your rping skills is write stories (in my opinion), just type out a little plot, or two random characters having a conversation, and it doesn't have to be original, it could be a fanfic (I'm not saying publish it on a fan fic site but write them and get people to review them and tell you what they liked and disliked. Combat is a whole other ballgame however and requires attention to detail, an understanding of the core mechanics of the rp's combat system and the self-discipline to watch for accidental godmoding meta-gaming. Read other people who you think are good rpers or who other people tell you are good rpers and try to find what are the things they always do/constantly do in their posts. They're likely doing them for a reason.

Well the thing is I do write stories, a lot of them actually but the one thing that I can't get is the use of words and vocabulary. I read, like a lot, like a lot a lot, but my head just don't want to use the info that I acquired. Like I know that there are a lot of other way to say, Someone said and sighed, but I just can't seem to do it correctly. Instead of going, Lyethery carefully picked up the tattered book and gently blew away the dust, making sure not to damage the worn out cover, I say something a long the line of, he picked up the book and blew away the dust. And I have read a lot of good rper rp, but I can't seem to use what I learn...I'm not sure whether it just the way in which I think or what, but I can't seem to turn what I am thinking into words...correctly.
You think you can like help me out a bit, you know one on one tutoring?

I think one on one might be exactly something you need. Pick someone you feel is a good roleplayer. Make up a two person role play and explain to them you'd like them to critic your posts to help you get better.

I've found, that once I've written out a rp post, it always does well to go back over it, and not only check for errors (obviously) but also embellish it where I can. Add little details here and there, and this is especially important in combat posts: Bob dodged the attack and threw a punch at Suzycan be countered in so many ways because it's too ambiguous in what happened. Bob side-stepped Suzy's punch, and taking hold of her arm he closed the distance between them and loosed an uppercut at her face. That completely changes how the opponent must respond and their pool of options.Rather than adding pretty detail, focus on the details of movement and action in combat. In many cases, it's all about, stepping back once you've typed up the basic post and saying, 'okay, what do I envision my character doing', 'what have I written they are doing?', 'how do I merge the two?'

Well you see, that is just the kind of thing I mean. Adding those details is something in which come really hard to me. i know how to say it, how to write it down on paper and type it, but adding them together and making it make sense is something else. I mean I can type the detailed movement, but when I reread over what I typed, I get confused about what is actually being said. Making it make sense might be the problem, or one of the many anyway.

Don't suppose any of the seers slots are going to open up any time soon are they? After looking through the different bloodlines, that's really the only one that I care to have, so... yeah, any idea when it will be open again, or if more slots will ever be added?
