"Yes, I'm glad to hear that Tex." He grinned and leaned his head back against Tex.

"That's a hint to get off! If you snatch one of my wings out before I remove my tail you can kill me you retard!" Tex growled hitting Toby in the head with the book while leaning forwards.

Toby grinned. "At least I wont catch the 'Bookworm Disease'.'' he said as he leaned forward slightly, still grinning.

"It's not a bookworm disease! It's called having something most people don't called a brain! At least I know what certain things are while you probably sit around sleeping ninety-percent of your life away," Tex growled making the book vanish. "Besides, Melody isn't going to be happy if you killed me or if we continue this argument."

Toby continued to grin. "It's called a discussion and I didn't know your brain was a book." He chuckled and got up then walked off, still chuckling.

"I have a photographic memory you lazy dog!" Tex growled following after him. "My brain isn't a book, it's just anything and everything I've read, heard, seen, tasted, felt... The basic skills plus a little something extra that I taught myself from reading books. What's wrong with enjoying reading?"

"Quit walking away from me, Toby! Tell me what's wrong with reading?" Tex growled getting mad and touching a mark on his wrist as ice appeared under Toby's feet.

Toby noticed the ice under his feet and started to slip, but quickly regained his balance and started skating on the small patch of ice, still grinning.

"You're p**sing me off!" Tex growled as he teleported in front of Toby and stopped him with his palm against his chest. "What's wrong with me liking books better than people?"

Toby grabbed Tex's arm and flipped him over and laughed. "Books can't talk." he said as he continued to walk.

((A bit of an understatement. Put in some effort. I'm putting in effort.))
Tex had landed on his feet and frowned when Toby's words hit him. "So what if they can't talk? They hold more knowledge than most of the people I've met, including you," he responded continuing after Toby. "They also don't make fun of you for knowing alot of things. They don't pick on you for being a half-breed or just waht your species are. How is that a bad thing? At least I know a book won't try hurting me."

"If I told you that answer you'd laugh at me... Just like everyone else," Tex muttered stopping in his tracks as a look of sadness crossed his face. His tail had stopped swishing and his wings hung limply behind him when he stopped following after Toby. "How old do you think I am?"

Toby stopped then considered the question. "Either about the same age as me, which is unlikely, or you're older than me."
