[Shatteredfang's gaze flickered up to the tree tops.] "You know, ever since I was a kit, I always wondered something," she whispered. [Her eyes quietly traced the tree limbs in the intricate patterns they created. She sighed tiredly, closing her eyes for a minute. Oh my, oh baby I'm trying. [Darkshadow looked at Shatteredfang with loving eyes.]"And whats that?"[He said sweetly. Darkshadow smiled at her.]"Don't worry. If it's a secret I won't tell anyone." I hear you, in my dreams.

[Shatteredfang laughed.] "I doubt it's worthy of earning the title of 'secret'," she meowed, gazing back up at the tree tops. [She yawned, her eyes drifting to Darkshadow.] "I've never gotten what twolegs had against us. It's puzzled me since I was a kit. They poison our waters, they set traps out that could kill us, they kidnap us, ram monsters into us and kill us," she meowed absently, still gazing up at the tree tops. She turned back to Darkshadow. "Do you know why?"
She growled to herself, looking at her tail. Or what was left of it. "It's their fault my tail is gone," she muttered unhappily.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

And they are trying to teach us a lesson."[Darkshadow looked over at the sky.]"But we don't invade their territory. We don't poison their water. We don't set up traps in their territory to try and cut off their tails. So why do it to us? Because were smaller?" I hear you, in my dreams.

Shatteredfang shrugged. "We, or at least some of us, only attack their kittypets when they threaten our territory," she meowed, looking down. "Perhaps it is because we are smaller," she meowed, shuffling her paws
A different, yet familiar scent caught her off guard. Her ears flattened as her gaze flickered over to the entrance, where a black tom was standing, staring intently at them. Her ears twitched, her eyes watching happily as he padded over. "Cinderwing, you found my vole," she meowed happily.
Cinderwing dropped the vole down in front of her. "Yes, but what's the prisoner doing out of his den?" he asked, his teeth bared at Darkshadow. Shatteredfang winced, trying to think of something.
"Well, you don't expect a cat to live in a dark den for the rest of his life, do you?" she challenged. "No one deserves such a cruelty."
Cinderwing snorted. "I think he does, since he's an almost murderer," he growled.
Shatteredfang twitched her nose in annoyance, almost dismissing it with a flick of the tail. She winced when she felt her tail move. She watched as Cinderwing's gaze turned soft. "You need to rest your tail, Shatteredfang," he meowed softly.
Shatteredfang sighed. "It's fine," she insisted.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

All you know is that I'm almost a murderer. When I'm not. And that I'm from Seaclan. Think that's a lot? You don't know anything about me. You don't know what I've been through. So don't judge me."[He said calmly.] I hear you, in my dreams.

[Foxfur smiled as Tigerfang received her apprentice. He turned his dark head and caught sight of Darkshadoow, out of his den, and Cinderwing looking angry. He padded over and overheard the last bit of the conversation]
"Darkshadow is right, Cinderwing. You don't really know him, so you shouldn't judge him, but Darkshadow, you've given us a few reasons to judge you harshly, so you can kind of see where Cinderwing is coming from. I know I can have a civilized conversation with you, but that doesn't mean I trust you fully"
[He flattened his ears slightly as he spoke calmly. Foxfur knew Shatteredfang was likely to explode at him]

Oh my, oh baby I'm trying. "You still think I'm a killer, don't you?"[He said calmly.]"If I still were I would have tried to escape. Or at least kill someone in Nightclan."[Darkshadow said. Trying to reason with them. He walked up to the entrance of his den. Then looked back at Cinderwing.]"I'll be in my den if yo want to judge me any more.."[He said bitterly. He walked into the den and sat down. He fell asleep all the way at the end of the den.] I hear you, in my dreams.

[Foxfurnlet out a sigh and stood up, nodding to Cinderwing before padding away to sit next to Willowheart]
"I obviously don't think he's a murderer. But you can't expect me to trust him when he's part of the reason Fathom attacked SeaClan, and the fact that he was banished from his birth Clan for attempting murder!"
[Willowheart nosed him]
"Don't judge him too harshly. Cats change"

[Blackflame and her brother Treepaw returned from there hunt, she looked around. Her eyes still harsh and threatning. Blackflame didn't care about loyalty,or kindness. Not when everyone thought of her as a grumpy old cat who acted like an Elder. She had caught two thrushes,three frogs. And a small spparow. Her brother had caught four frogs, two thrushes. A rat. Andd two mice. This was their second trip. They layed the prey down, then the two siblings sat down, away from each other. Not because they hated each other but because they didn't feel like sitting aronud each other.]

[Shatteredfang kept silent through Foxfur and Darkshadow's conversation, trying not to say a word, afraid that someone would guess that she was his mate. She sighed unevenly. If they found out, what would they do? Would she become a prisoner too?
Without another word, she trotted to the edge just outside of Darkshadow's den, sitting down. She heaved an annoyed sigh, looking back over at Cinderwing. She let out a low growl as he padded after her.
When he sat down beside her, she hissed, getting up.] "Can you take a hint? I don't want to be around you right now," she growled, padding out of the camp.
[Soon enough, she felt pawsteps trailing behind her. She rolled her eyes, ignoring him. She needed to get away, before she ended up hurting someone.
After minutes of silence, he finally spoke.] "You like him."
Shatteredfang stopped, heaving a sigh. He had figured it out.
Cinderwing scoffed. "Why? Why him?"
[Shatteredfang slowly turned, her eyes meeting his.] "Because when I look at him, I don't see the almost murderous side of him," she meowed. "I just see him. His caring, loving, quiet self."
Cinderwing sighed, flattening his ears. "So, him instead of me, huh?" Shatteredfang sighed, watching him.
"I'm sorry it didn't work out between us," she whispered. "I wouldn't let myself love you. It feels like you're still my apprentice," She meowed, padding closer. "No matter what, you're still my best friend."
Cinderwing trembled, stepping away. "Whatever makes you feel better," he growled. [A new flame burned in his golden eyes.
Shatteredfang sighed, padding back to camp. She felt herself tremble as his image sunk in. Please, don't hurt him, she thought vaguely before she felt the immense pain in her tail once more. She hissed, laying on her belly. She didn't feel to good.]╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Don't worry about Cinderwing."[He said sweetly. Trying to comfort her the best her could. He wrapped his tail around her.] I hear you, in my dreams.
