"So why not answer my question? Why not try to act upon your emotions?" Lucifer asked, narrowing his eyes at her with interest in her answer. He walked over to the television and turned it off with a swift move that didn't even seem like it happened. He then gently moved closer to Cynder in his graceful fashion, only available to a vampire that has lived long enough to master his undead movement.

Cynder shrugged. "Acting upon my emotions has never been anything good for me. I've tried to act upon happiness, but it didn't really work out well. I don't wish to elaborate on it." she replied sadly, hearing the television being turned off. She glanced up curiously, and noticed Lucifer walk closer. She smiled at him. "Thanks for letting me come here. It's no fun to sleep in alleyways anymore." Cynder added. "Especially if you rather sleep indoors than outside."

Dean jumped the fence, landing with a splash seeing as one of his feet had landed in a small puddle. Stepping forward he scanned the surroundings. Damn where the hell did that guy go! He thought, double checking his surroundings. I cant even pick anything up, he cant be here....damn it....

"I'm sure it's a big difference," Lucifer replied in a cheerful way, "but I've been sleeping in many place that I'd rather not have been. But I suppose that's how our types of species work. We are stronger and more powerful than humans, yet we can't seem to fit into their world and survive comfortably. It's all very strange if you think about it." Lucifer walked over towards a closet and pulled out some blankets and placed them on his sofa. "Sorry that this is all I have," he explained, "but this is the best I can do, unless you'd rather sleep in my bed and I sleep out here?"

Cynder smiled at Lucifer, glad he didn't ask anymore. "I must agree with you there, Vampire." she laughed. "Try as we might to fit in, we just... Can't. We can jump over buildings, suck peoples' blood, fight each other and be fierce. Yet we can't act... Mortal." she shook her head, giggling. When he walked to the closet and brought out the blankets, her smile became genuine. "Don't apologize, Lucifer. I'll sleep out here - I'd sleep on the floor if you didn't have a couch." she grinned amiably. "Thanks."

"It's not a problem," Lucifer replied. He cleaned a little around the apartment to make it look more decent. He then headed for his bedroom, but stood at the door frame and looked back at Cynder. "Now if you get scared when the sun comes out," he teased, "you can wake me up and I'll make it go away."

Cynder smiled as Lucifer began to clean. She took one of the blankets he had placed on the couch, and folded it into a soft, pillow-shaped rectangle. She put it on the arm of the couch, and then removed her shoes, pulling her feet up onto the couch and pulling the blanket up over her. She expected to hear Lucifer becoming silent, or hear his door close. When he turned around, Cynder glanced up, and smirked at him. "Alright, fine." she laughed. "I'll come in and poke you." she laughed, and lay back against the couch. "Night." she yawned, and rolled over, falling asleep. 'Well, at least I'm awake in my subconscious.' she laughed in her head.

Lucifer smirked as he made his way into his room and closed the door, it not even making a sound when it shut. He then proceeded to check all of the curtains to make sure that the sun wouldn't make it through which he was sleeping. You never could be too cautious when it came to eternal life and dying by a stupid mistake. "Well, this is interesting..." Lucifer said to himself as he closed his eyes and fell into his deep sleep that overtook vampires when they went to sleep.

Cynder curled up in a ball, wrinkling the blanket and bringing it up around her tighter. Her eyes closed tightly, as if she was having a bad dream. She clenched her fangs, and suddenly relaxed. She remained curled into a ball, but was silent and unmoving. The curtains were drawn in the room, so even the moonlight was unable to shine into the room. It was completely dark.

Dean rose, walking out of the district still frustrated by the way he had lost who he was after. Still cant believe it, he was right there and then i turn a corner and nothing, not even my 6th sense picked him up. He thought walking out of the district completely.

Cynder's eyelids fluttered slightly, and slowly opened. She yawned and stretched, rolling onto her other side on the couch and blinking a couple times to clear her blurry vision. She placed an elbow on the couch and lifted herself slightly off it, glancing around. She finally remembered where she was, and fell back against the couch with a groan. "I don't think it's morning... Probably nighttime again." Cynder muttered to herself sleepily.

Takiko strolled through a random area of the District. The darkness of night comforted her. So many times she wished the world could be rid of what was good, just to leave it with the night to look foward too. Nothing ever seemed to happen in her eternal life. Except the occasional tainted picking a fight with her. Only tainted that know they will lose bring U.V. bullets with them into a fight with a vampire. Takiko glanced at one of her arms briefly, seeing a luminescent scar streaking across her forarm. The only mark she gained from her past few fights. It seemed she must be much stronger than most, to be able to walk from a fight without being touched, really.
Stopping at corner, Takiko leaned against the side of a random housing complex. To calm her annoyance that flared when she thought of what her life had become, Takiko pulled out a single cigarette. The yellow filter and white colors would be distinct to anyone around as she placed it between her lips. 'Smoking is disgusting.' Her thoughts groaned as flicked on the lighter out of her pocket. In a small blaze, the end lite, sending small puffs of smoke into her system. The smoke was blown from between her lips, once she removed the cigarette. 'Hopefully, It will kill me.' The thoughts allowed her to smile, as she placed it back in her mouth, and closed her eyes.

Lucifer just awoke from his slumber, sort of stiff from staying still in his sleep which was a common thing for him to do. He slowly rose from his bed, putting on his remaining clothing as he didn't sleep with shirts during the night. He moved towards the window and looked through the window, seeing the bustling town below him.

Cynder shoved the blanket off, and sat up, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand. Finally pushing herself off the bed, the Tainted stood and shook the kinks out of her leg, and heard Lucifer get up. She walked silently to Lucifer's door and knocked on it. "You awake, Lucifer?" she backed away from the door and began to run her fingers through her hair, removing the knots and making her hair look brushed. She cracked her hands - they had been cramped under her as she slept.

Lucifer silently opened the door, already dressed for the most part besides his coat. "Well, pleasent evening to you," Lucifer said as he came out of the bedroom, "I see that you managed to get some sleep." He said after looking at her sleepy expression. Lucifer once again turned the TV on to see what might have happened during the day, when humans were more active and tended to do more reckless things. He glanced at it then turned it off, the day being for the most part peaceful other than a fire that broke out from a car accident involving a building.
