Tifa lowered her hand that was extened out to Cloud, looking over at the silver haired man in disgust. Her deep brown eyes casted a piercing glare, taking a small step forwards as she began, "Kadaj..." He thew various insults left and right, in which Tifa was unresponsive to. Her expression remained the same. She spoke in a spiteful whisper towards Kadaj, "..Your words mean nothing to me. Call me all the names you want and rub the facts in my face as you please. I wont care. I know for a fact now that Cloud does not love me... But I know that he doesnt love you and your so called 'Family'." She nodded reassuringly to herself. She knew she was right.

...At least that's what she thought. When Kadaj spoke the words "First victim," Tifa was a bit bewildered. Victim? What did he mean by that? Her question was soon answered as the ex-Soldier Cloud slowly turned to face her. She immediately took a step back, her mouth hanging agap as her eyes showed an expression of worry. His eyes...those gorgeous icy blue pools...they were gone. In their place were evil, cat-like slits that were frightening to even look at momentarily. She shook her head slowly, taking another small step back as he gave her a glare. Why was he... acting this way..? Was she too harsh on him earlier? Was he taking out his anger on her? All these questions, racing through her mind. She all of a sudden felt...guilty. She thought that his current state was her own fault, "Oh Cloud..."

As he glanced at the youngster by her side, Tifa immediately stood infront of him, ready to protect him if absolutely neccessary..

Standing beside one of the softly glowing trees, Was a young girl. She peeked from out of behind the tree,long silver hair flowing gently with the gentle breez, The elegant long raven dress she wore blew swiftly in the wind at the bottem. Just as she rested a hand upon the helt of her katana.She didn't carrie the masamune as it would be much to hard for the young girl to weld,so she stuck with a regular sized katana.Slowly but surely, she moved away from the tree.She couldn't help but try to push any fears she might of had with Kadaj, He was one man you didn't want to tick off.And she already knew he didn't like her very much.She made her way to the brunette and stopped to stand at her side.

"Its not Cloud, At least, not anymore. Jenova got to him, And he is one of them now.." She spoke all the while keeping her eyes on Kadaj. "Its not your fault." She tryed to reasure her, that it was not her fault what happend to him. "Jenova is getting strong.."

Sephriea had never met Tifa before, Though, she had heard about her, even once and a while the young girl would watch her. She took the time to learn everything about the people here, And these so called friends of her fathers.She only hoped Tifa didn't get to started to see a girl whomb looked like a female clone of Sephiroth talking to her, She might of even thought she was in on it, who knew. "I belevie you are going to have to fight him..Once he gets a weapon.." She paused for a moment, truely she didn't beleive Tifa would be able to handle Cloud by herself,which is why she was here.If anything she would attempt to help her.

The young woman kept her eyes on Cloud, looking rather worried... and a bit scared. But... since when was there a reason to fear Cloud? He was the young ex-Soldier that she had fallen in love with, the same man who travelled the world with her and her friends all those years ago. But now look at him. Full of hatred, anger...

As he gave her a 'smile', Tifa's expression immediately turned into a serious frown. That was not him. That was not his smile, that adorable, innocent smile that he would give only to his friends. The smile he gave almost reminded her of someone... A certain 'silver haired, masamune wielding' someone.

At that moment, Tifa glanced over at the young woman whom had appeared by her side. She gave her a confused stare, wondering who she was, and why she was here. Was she on her side? Was she on their side? She wasn't even sure anymore. As she spoke of the 'former' Cloud, the dark haired brunette turned to stare at the spikey haired blonde once again, "...I'm aware."

When the silver haired female spoke the words "I think you are going to have to fight him", Tifa went silent. She was going to have to fight...Cloud? She had never fought Cloud, and she never intended to. She never wished to lay one finger upon his spikey head if it were to cause him any harm. Did she... have to? The young woman glanced down for a moment, gathering up her thoughts and what little confidence she had left. She had to remember, this was to help Cloud.. To help him return back to normal... To turn back into the sweet young man that she knew deep in her heart. And if to get him back meant that she had to fight... then so be it.

Tifa stood her ground as a weapon arises out of the black water, studying the scene carefully. Her eyes darted between Cloud, then the weapon, then Kadaj, then back at Cloud again. Taking in a deep breath, she clentched her fingers into fists as she raised them, taking a prepared fighting stance as her expression remained serious. There was no turning back now...

Sephriea jumped back as Cloud made his move toward Tifa.How unfair of a fight! A man with a sword, against a women with nothing but her fist as her weapons.She was great with them,but truely..How good can one be against someone that fought with a sword? She didn't think he had much of a chance.Her hand went to the helt of her weapon,before pulling it out of its sheath.

She wanted to help Tifa more then anything.If it was one thing she hated,was unfair fights.Narrowing her eyes, she gave a quick glance toward Kadaj,whom was up on one of the tree branches. "For someone who just wants friends, You sure go about it all wrong! Its no wonder you dont have ANY!" Turning away, she ran over to Tifa as to try and help her with Cloud.

((Yep. I'll just post this, and then stop for now,then! ))

Off to the side, away from the fighting, A young women stood.She appeared to be wearing a blue suit,with one metal armor plate at her right shoulder,engraved with some sort of marking.The women herself had short powderblue hair,and one ruby red eye.The one thing that stood out most was the black eyepatch that rested over her right eye from a battle years ago.In her hand was a small silver what looked like a thin circle, Maybe some sort of weapon? As she continued to watch from the safty of the shadows, she pushed at the side of the weapon,suddenly razor sharp spikes shot out as what was once just a harmless looking weapon, now had firce looking spikes comeing out of eatch side.Although she made no other move to join into the battle, she felt being ready would be the best thing to do.

Terran gave up, and flew the Invincible back to the ocean, not even noticing when he passed directly over Cloud and the others, bringing a powerful wind that increased the speed and power of Tifa's kick.

When he was out in the ocean, the Invincible dropped deep into the water, sealed tight by barriers.

However, Cloud would get another chance to attack in the next few minutes. Soaring down from the sky was a red-headed rocket, aiming towards Tifa and Cloud's battle. The rocket would speed up and then slow down as it began to descend like a helicopter coming back to the ground.

Landing square in front of Tifa, Grenz stood and then got in a stance to fight as his two large blades that he wielded one-handedly stood at the ready. Where did he come from and how did he know the two were in a battle? That'll be explained later. Looking over his shoulder at Tifa, he spoke quickly and loud enough for her to hear.

"Miss Lockhart, please allow me to continue this battle. I'm quite aware you can handle him, but I was told to not let you get hurt. So, I'm your opponent Strife!"



As I said earlier....To give you an update on our friends after Cloud, Aerith and Tifa left, Kaizer had basically just shouted '********' real loudlike and peeled off to get to the airship. Well, they got there. Of course. After having gotten on and settled, Kaizer took hold of the wheel and lifted off. The roaring would be ignored due to Midgar being so loud as it was, but Grenz and Raven had been speaking the moment they left the truck.

It turns out that Raven had placed a tracer on each individual and had been keeping tabs on them.

And it seems the buxom bartendress and the ex-SOLDIER were throwing down. So they formulated a plot. Kaizer would fly the airship close and Grenz would powerdive off of it, being he might be the only match for Cloud out of the few people available.

And now you know why Grenz came out of bloody nowhere.
