Tristan squirmed slightly, slidding up and pressed his mouth against the angel. He was untutored in such things so it was a rather confused sort of kiss like he had heard what to do but unsure about some of it.

Raising a brow at the confused little kiss, he accepted it nonetheless. It was an innocent, boyish, childish kiss.. and it worked for them... for now. Breaking the innocent kiss, he gently put a hand on Tristan's cheek. "Is that better, Tristan?" He asked softly.

Tristan flushed and rested on the hand, teeth bitting into his lips."Yes..did I do that right? Was the kissing good?" He ran a paw though his red hair looking up confused at the angel.

Angellus couldn't help but grin down at Tristan and give a very soft, tender laugh. "The kiss was very nice, Tristan, and you did it right," He said softly. Innocent and childish or not, the kiss was still a kiss from Tristan, whom Angel adored endlessly, so it was a good kiss and done in a right manner of approaches.

Tristan gave a soft murring sound looking out at the beach and smelling the tinge of salt. "The food going to get cold unless we eat it." He said fianlly tugging on the angels hair gently. "Then we can set off the dragons."

Nodding his head as his hair was gently tugged on by the coon, he smiled and reached out for the picnic basket. Glancing down towards Tristan, he grinned lightly before opening up the basket. "It all smells so delicious..."

Angellus smiled and pulled out what was in the basket, setting it down before he smiled towards Tristan, "My, my... You must have psychic powers." He said with a chuckle, reaching out to gently pat the coon on the head, rubbing an ear softly before he reached back down to set the thermostat, homemade bread, and pie infront of them.

Tristan giggled. "I'm not psyic it's just what counts as dinner in the cave. Usually it's at least two courses. Salad, soup, something light the first then the main couses second." He purred happily at the ear rubbing. "Butter pats? I think Akash was making chicken."

Smiling softly he pulled anything else that was in the basket out and set it down, gently nuzzling against Tristan before his stomach gave a light growl. "Yeah... it's definately dinner time."

"Dinnner!" He exclaimed, eagerly waving his tail the bush thing hitting angellus leg over and over in his excitment. "It's chicken! Mmmm chicken, chicken, he reached over and grabbed a slice of chicken poping it in his mouth. "Mmm chicken!"

Luckily, Angellus wasn't picky with his food. Meat or veggies, he could eat it. Smiling as he gently grabbed Tristan's tail, he reached over and took a piece of chicken and a slice of home made bread before releasing the coon's tail to eat, his wings spreading out further to shelter them from the wind and cold. "It tastes even better than it smells. Akash is a very good cook."

Tristan gave a little sqeaking sound as his tail was grabbed, looking up at Angellus and when let go curled the fuzzy things around his waist. He chewed his piece of chicken and reached out to grab the bread. "Unhun. He was really good."

Blinking, the angel wasn't sure if the other let out the little squeak because it shocked him, or because he had accidentally hurt him. "I didn't hurt you, did I, Tristan?" He asked softly in a slightly worried voice after he had finished his piece of chicken. He offered a light, apologetic smile, just in case.
