She smiled and started for the lake "It is nice... though I don't go there often.."
Synne frowned "Your mom's not here right now... and I'm not saying you need to STOP working. But your entitled to take a break and have some fun now and then." She gave him a look "Why does she need you to work so hard anyway? I've never even seen her here to see you... "

"No, she can protect herself," Valzar sighed and shook his head. "But it's what I'm expected to do, Kar learns his swords, I learn my magic so if mother's attacked we can defend her...that's what Kar told me..."

Synne frowned in puzzlement "Why would she be attacked? And your a kid... she should be defending YOU not you her... thats what mommy's do" She crossed her arms "And I still say you cna take a few moments to relax and play"

She grinned and stopped by the lake "well here we are... I think the waterfall is that way" She pointed to an alcove further down
Synne grinned "Yay!" and started to pull him towards her room "Don't worry.. no dresses this time!"

Synne shrugged "Umm.. inside... I can teach you a board game? There's not a lot of physical activity with those but some are mentally challenging..."
