Bleu and I talked and we'd like to do Japan and India together. Since we live in the same house and all. ^_^

Japan China India Northern Africa Rome Norselands Ireland/England Siberia Any takers? If not, I'm gonna start assigning. Alright.. I dunno about the rest of you... But I think just a potluck would be fine. Last time I tried making fried rice, it was awful. So I probably won't do Chinese. Northern Africa? Would anyone else eat the injera bread and spicy dahl if I brought it? Otherwise.. What? Grape leaf wraps? And for Rome. I wouldn't know if it's any different from Greek food nowadays. All I can think of that is specifically Roman is gelato. Spaghetti? Pizza? Alright. And the Norselands! Back when it was the "norselands", they ate meat, milk, and potatoes. If someone wants to bring those... Okie. Ireland/England. What comes to mind is fried fish, more potatoes, corned beef, spongecakes, and cabbage. That would make an interesting casserole. And I have no freaking clue what dish to make from Siberia. For real. A haunch of meat comes to mind. And maybe dumplings. So I'm still at a loss. I wouldn't be surprised if the one other guild member who will participate in the potluck knows either. gonk Knows what? o_O And since when are we the only ones participating? Isn't everyone except Arkie gonna make something? Frankly, I don't really think it should be optional. I mean, anyone who's coming is basically getting free meals all weekend. The least they could do is bring one dish. And as for what to make for each country, let's just leave that up to the cooks. 3nodding (Btw, I think the North African food would get eaten, if you made it. I know I'd try some. 4laugh Is that the region you want?)

And I'm not really a geography expert but um... what countries make up the Norselands? lol um....germany....dutch place.... russia mebbe.... i donno gonk i dunt think ireland. BUT xena pretended teh be a irish goddess once 3nodding OH and she went teh ancient britain 3nodding ireland was part of that.... OR she coulda just gone there and they didnt say it was there 3nodding cuz theres lots of those irish twirly-ma-doos in xena if yeh pay attention 3nodding oh also mlila was celtic....so xena coulda stopped off there when she did deh stow away thing Ireland WAS NOT and never will be, part of Britain. it USED teh be way long time ago ninja probably before xena was alive tho ninja buuut now that i thinkabout it deh deliverer was where stonehenge was ninja

They stole most of it A.X. (after Xena), in the early 1600's, but we took back 26 counties at the beginning of the 20th century. They only have a few now and believe me, we're going to get those back too.

Okay, anyway, I was just explaining why I hadn't picked yet.
I'm having a difficult time thinking of something that I want to cook, can cook, and know that it'll get eaten while being from a specific Nationality. I'll probably do North Africa. I guess. xp
I don't think Vaerna is coming. And I don't know what Riva would want to make. She's a good cook, but I'll ask her if she can do it.
My cousin can't miss work, so she's not going.
And since I'm not driving there, I don't think anyone else from Minneapolis can make it.
And by one other person from the guild, I was talking about Skillsys.
You already picked your ethnicity, so you didn't count.
The only guild members who are going to go are you me Skills and Pez.
Pez isn't potlucking, so he doesn't count either.

That comparison is complete crap. stare We already took back 26 COUNTIES! Do know how many that is? It's most of the country! That's more than just about any native group has ever done. And no, they didn't hand it over for political niceties. We took it back. And 300 years after the fact, no less. If any native group in the world stands a chance of reclaiming their lands, it's us. Ireland is NOT part of Britain.

Okay, so far we have...
Japan - Ducky & Bleu
China - ?
India - Ducky & Bleu
Northern Africa - Fenny
Rome - ?
Norselands - ?
Ireland/England - Skillzy & Stickzy
Siberia - ?
Once Riva chooses one, I'll send the remaining three to the guests and they can divide them up however.
@Pez - And you can ask Jath if she wants to do one, as well.
Oh yeah, in regards to the pageant. Since Fenny is gonna be dressed up as Salmoneous, she's obviously going to be the host. But we're probably going to need at least 3 contestants and two to three judges.
Bleu might be a contestant. I'm slowly talking her into it. xd
I was going to, but when I considered all my talents, I realized that none of them are really performance oriented. So I'm fine being a judge.
Skillzy, Pez, what are you guys gonna do? It'd be better to get more contestants, but if you're really opposed to the idea or you can't think of anything for the talent section, that's fine.
And Pez, another thing to ask Jath is if she wants to participate in the pageant.
