Mim watched Edward, shaking her head side-to-side. "Edward." She said, standing, "Go to Alice." With that, she smiled weakly, before opening and closing the door behind her.

Edward watched her leave, then rolled over, to face the wall. After a few moments he punched the wall, lucky for the wall his hand didn't go through, just a scratch on it.

Mim walked down the hall, moping. In all honesty, she'd rather have Edward pissed at her, then upset. Though, in her opinion it was probably both. She sighed, walking off and kicking things.

Edward not knowing what to think right now or what to do, got up and began wondering the halls, until he found the door and wondered out. Seeing the tree he sat under that night that the wolves came to guard the place, he wandered over and sat, lost in thought.

Alice spotted Edward underneath the tree and walked over to him, sensing something must've been wrong. Reaching his side, she kneel beside him, smoothing out her silky black skirt. She didn't want say anything even though she doubted he'd be able to hear her.

Go to Alice played over and over in his head, along with the vision of Lydia walking out on him like that. He made a decision that he would never try to pursue Mimicry again, and to focus all his attention to Alice. Feeling a presence near him he looked over and seen Alice, which brought a smile to his face. He leaned over and kissed her gently on the lips. "Hey there, where did you come from?"

Alice shrugged, returning the quick kiss. "I've been by your side for some time, you seemed out of it, so I waited." She scooted closer, green eyes full of concern. "Something wrong?"

"Just got into a fight with my best friend." He spoke with a bit of sadness in his voice. "Though things are looking up now that you are here." he smiled kindly at her.

She wrapped an arm around his shoulders, looking off at The Red Cross building. "My love," She began. "If you and your friend, your best friend, are going through something, I'm sure it'll get better. Your friends afterall." Alice wrapped an arm around his and leaned her head on his shoulder. "Do you want to tell me about it?"

She nodded. "Alright. I won't press it." Wrapping her other arm around his shoulders, she ran her fingers through his hair, rocking him slightly.

She looked thoughtful for a moment, running her fingers over his neck. "I've traveled around The Black Rose Forest, looking for echoes. You know, places to resonate the sound of my violin."
