With a brillant red sun set and a light evening breeze all of Charlie's worries disapated. His thoughts drifted back to the presant as he finnished the song. He turned to Ava, "What's your favorite Driveshaft song? Maybe I could play it for you."

Charlie looked into her eyes and smiled. "You All Everybody is one of my favorites too. I enjoy it because I have some pretty sweet vocals. I guess you already know that since you are a big fan and all." Charlie galnced down at his feet again. The last thing he wanted to do was make Ava feel like he was talking down to her.

To try and change the topic, Charlie said, "You ever thought you would be stranded on an island with someone from one of your favorite bands?"

((I was staying with someone who had no internet...sorry sweatdrop Oh, and Willow's very busy with her volunteering so she gave me indefinate control of Sayid for the time being))

After they'd bathed, and sat, dressed in nothing but a towel, their hair drying in the sun, Shannon and Claire felt relaxed and made small talk. Shannon pulled out her nail polish. She'd been rationing her stash but this was a special occasion. "Give me your hand." She said pleasantly. "I'm going to give you a manicure."

"A virgin then? I'm honoured." Shannon screwed off the lid of the pale pink polish and the toxic smell wafted between them for a moment as Shannon gently settled Claire's hand on her toweled thigh. She made expert strokes with the brush, never missing or touching the skin. "So you've never had a manicure, or I guess your hair styled? Because I'm doing your hair later, when it's dry."

Charlie chuckled. "It's nice to met a fan who is not all obsessive. You know? Someone who just appreciates you and your talet and not just like you 'cause your famous." Charlie smiled at Ava. "What did you do before the crash?" asked Charlie out of curiosity.

"Going to be a shrink, eh? Help people solve there problems? That's good. We need more people who want to help in this world. Just think, if more people wanted to help the rescue party search for us we would have been found by now. They could have had people searching the entire Ocean for us and then we could be off this bloody Island." When said "entire Ocean" Charlie flung his arms wide as to express the vastness of the Ocean.

"Don't worry, if there's anything in this world that I'm good at-no matter what Boone says. It's this...well maybe another thing but that's not really relevent right now..." She continued to paint until Claire's nails gleamed with a pale pink shimmer. "Dont' touch anything and stay away from all sand." She directed and then paused. "You probably know that already." Her own nails had been done the other day and were still in good shape so she capped the bottle and slid it back into her bag.
