You don't think Hellboy might've had a right to be angry? Brainiac, a kid whose prone to outbursts of insanity, injects him full of little robots from the future, and refuses to remove them, despite it being well within his power to do. Hell - I'd say he showed some restraint.

Hellboy. You're wrong. You're too fat-headed to admit it, but assaulting someone without being provoked is wrong. You can tell yourself that attacking someone who never meant you any harm makes you the good guy all you want...but you're the one who got drunk off his rear end afterward.
We're not friends any more. And we never will be again. And it's not because you attacked 'my boyfriend.' It's because you hurt another person just because you WANTED to. That's not the kind of friend I would ever want to have.

"Not intending harm" is a nullified argument when the fact the person in question injects another individual against their will - with disintegrating whateverthehell or not. The act alone shows great indifference to the other person.
