how do you trick or treat?

You put on some "costume" and go aroung to certain shops and they'll offer you candy once every 20 minutes. It explains it at Gambino's mansion.

A Step By Step Guide To Getting Candy!

Purchase and equip some form of Hallowe'en costume (you should only need one item of these sets):
Hallowe'en 2003 Shop Costumes (Ghostie, The Mistake, etc.)

Hallowe'en 2003 Items (Jacked Up Set, Brown Paper Bag)

Hallowe'en 2004 Shop Costumes (Mami set, Robot set etc.)

Hallowe'en 2004 Items (Really Jacked Up Set, G-CORP clothing)
Visit Barton Boutique

Click on either the Lemon or Cherry Candy that Ian offers you

Click on Profile to make sure you have received this Candy

Wait 20 minutes or post 15 times

Visit Gambino Hat Rack

Click on either the Raspberry or Grape Candy that Ruby offers you (and check you've received it as before)

Wait another 20 minutes or post 15 times

Visit Durem Depot

Click on either the Blueberry or Lime Candy that Moira offers you (and check you've received it as before)

Now search through the different maps until you see this: and click on it.

Jack should appear, and say "muuhhuuuhuuu haahaaaahaaa... I see ye brings me candies three and so shall ye be repaid with something for free. Take mebag for inside ye shall find something that will make yer heart freeze!"

Click on your Inventory to see which Jack Bag 2004 you have received.
