"Oh really...then whom finally landed Isle?"
he knew well enough that pregnancy was not something undertaken lightly by surface breeds, especially on Andal...before picking his son up and settling him on his lap. though a slight smirk.
"missing Isle? hardly. but it doesn't take much to know that Galesen still has thoughts lingering on her. Not to mention I was hoping she'd be able to help Malikhai with women...after all, if anyone knows how to flirt, it's her."

"You're lying, Raven..." She continued to knead against his shoulders, lifting up and nibbling on his ear. "Defenses and such? That's all you've been doing...?" She'd been talking to Piper lately and she knew that he and Malik had some sort of special project going on. Something that was taking an awful lot of Sevilin's runics though she and her partner in crime hadn't quite worked it out yet. "You know I can't do that when it comes to Kariel. That kid had it rough when he was a baby so I try to do everything I can to make it up to him. It's only fair."
He chuckled at his friend and spoke to his own, brushing his hand over his own female companion's cheek and whispering something in her ear. He had no intentions of sleeping with her, at least not tonight. An hour and half just wasn't long enough to do what needed to be done when it came to women. He'd been taught well and knew better than to disrespect one.
She laughed softly and stirred her drink for a moment then took a sip of it, fiddling with her straw suggestively. "Looking for fun. Well, I'm sure that if you go abotu it the right way, you'll be able to find some. Shouldn't be hard for a good looking elf like you. What kind of fun did you have in mind?" she asked reaching out and brushing her hand through his hair. "I might be able to...provide what you're looking for."

Okay, so Sevilin had been involved on teh sword thing, but he wasn't supposed to let the women know. Hell, he didn't want to know but he had learned some interesting things in the process as well. Slight stupid moment as she nibbled his ear though. Damn ears. "Call it an overhaul." Shaking his head then. "He's got you wrapped around his finger because of that Zahara. It's more manipulation then being fair or not."
And she was touching his hair...and he had an hour and fifteen minutes...well probably an hour or only forty-five minutes now. Damn his time keeping weirdness. "Oh I don't think I'd have to try all that hard." Taking a sip of his own drink, fiddling the mug between his hands a little. "Something oh, adventerous and new, something I've never tried before." Raise of an eyebrow at her and a smile. Oh the things he got himself into under Zykariel's influence. "My kind of girl, eh?"
Piper shrugged. "Don't really know, not that it really matters. Isle doesn't need a man to cling to her and take care of, or claim that she needs to be taken care of herself. I don't have all the details yet but I'll get those eventually." But a raise of an eyebrow at him as he mentioned why exactly he was interested in Isle coming back. "Ah, so that's it. Makes sense after all...don't recall you ever being good with women." And he knew what she meant. She was probably the only woman Malik had ever really thoughtfully gone after and looking to come to him with free will. Boy had he frustrated himself with her too. it was amusing to think back on. "If anything, he's going to pick it up from Zykariel...that boy is a horrible flirt but in the good way."

"I would imagine though, that to Lateef and Caprice it matters quite a bit."
though a bit of a frown at Zykariel's influence.
"That boy is a flirt, and damn near a sexual predator...I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps a list of women he's slept with for the sheer ego stroking of how big it might get and how many are repeat performances."
it was no secret that Zykariel was that way. Annoyed his parents as much as anyone else. and malik.
"I'd prefer he not get that involved just yet. the last thing we need is a dozen young elves or halfelves looking to claim a place in this House from a single evening years ago."

She'd never really thought about that for a moment and that stopped her. Her hands rested on his shoulders for a moment and then she shoved him down so that he was face down on the bed. Straddling him and resting on his a** as she leaned over her husband and continued on his massage. "You're probably right..." Chances were she cut Zykariel a break more than once because she still felt guilty about the first three years of his life and her absence from them. She knew it had been difficult for him to watch her treat his brother and sisters the way he had wanted her to when he was a baby. "I knew that would come back to bite me in the a**..."
"No, you probably wouldn't. Must be nice to be so popular, hmm?" She took another sip of her drink and shrugged. "Perhaps. I don't presume to know your type D'vinn, but I can give you adventure and something you've never had before." She finished off the drink, slowly then nodded at the empty glass. "Order me another?"

"Of course it matters some, but it's not like it's as uncommon as you think. Accidents happen. I was an accident, remember?" Shrugging lightly before blinking at his frown and then matching it with his own before shaking her head at him. "He is not...if anything he reminds me of a younger you in your more less than appealing years. Just without the force and impossing manner you used to have about you in horrid manner." Nope, she'd never been afraid to tell him how bad he had been, and he knew that she didn't mean it in spite and in fact it was further proof that she loved him and wanted to be with him, despite all the past. Raise of an eyebrow then. "I doubt our boy is that reckless...sure he knows you'd practically wring his neck if that did happen. Besides...he blushes purple around Keely these days, I doubt he's gotten that brave yet."
A blink at his sudden new position but he knew that something had gotten to her when she had paused for that breif moment. Okay...well, first let's just get comfortable in our new position and let her continue with that she was doing. "I wouldn't say it's come back to bite you in the a**, Sweetheart...he's just trying to use it against you. You loved him even when he was still cooking, you just didn't know it yet. And I know it was a little hard for him when you had the others, but he's not that bad off about it, just making you think he is."
"Popular is not something you revel in when you're been born it. You need to earn your popularity to truly be so." Well wasn't he full of little nuggest of information that could possibly be profound. "I like a woman who doesn't try to say she knows everything about me either, just means she's a stalker and there's no room left to impress." Quirk of an eyebrow though, "Like what?", motioning for her to recieve another drink.

"Hey now, some liked that force and imposing lordly manner."
though a slight smirk and a chuckle, bouncing their son on his lap a bit. though a slight grin at the mention of Keely. she'd turned into quite a pretty lady, especially with her elvish influences.
"that could be mostly from the fact that Keely was his babysitter and childhood friend, before she became attractive. I doubt he's quite as shy with strangers. and how long has it been now? an hour maybe?"

Continuing in her movements, she felt her eyes well up for a moment, remembering those first three years of her oldest son's life. She slipped her arm up and swiped away any tears that might try to fall, then nodded. "I suppose you're right. It's just rough when things make me remember and then I feel guilty all over again and-" She broke off for a moment and slapped her hand down on his back. "And that's exactly how he's managed to do it, isn't it?" Nibbling on her lip for a moment, she rolled off of him and laid back against the bed. "Well hell..."
"I think you've earned yours Malikhai. The popularity that comes with the D'vinn name is more of a stigma than anything else. Your father is known for his heartlessness. You, on the other hand, are known for your business smarts and ability to smooth out situations. Also your unfailing good looks and intelligence." She smiled softly and then shook her head. "I bet you've never had a female turn you down before." Patting his cheek lightly, she picked up the drink and slowly moved a few seats away, crossed her legs and turned back to the bar.

"I'm talking about the underlying implications and you know it." Sitting back in her chair and watching father and son a moment. Apparently Malik was good at making boys. Not that it bothered her, she was happy with her men. "Yes, but she doesn't babysit him anymore and hasn't for a good five years." And she had just recently been reinstated as resident D'vinn babysitter what with Dhairiss around now. But a mental check of time. "Around about. What, getting all eager and such? How cute. Sure I don't get to know more than you're letting on?"
Slight face as she slapped her hands down, okay this was starting to be more about her keeping her hands busy than her just being nice. As she rolled off of him, he rolled onto his side and propped his head up with an elbow, watching her a moment. "Pretty much." Reaching over and pulling her close, nuzzling lightly at her neck. "Now you know the tactic, so don't let him get away with it."
Wait...did he just indeed get turned down? Well...moving away and such usually mean 'go away I want nothing more to do with you'. Which got that thinking look of his and he finished off his drink. Hm, comtemplating to do and not really sure...why did girls have to be difficult to understand? This was a talk to dad thing and all but that valuable information source wasn't around now was it. Though he also happened to remember something else on that thought too and getting up he walked over to his friend, giving him a poke. "We gotta go."

"You'd probably hurt me."
A slight grin.
"I ask because I don't hear him. there's no pacing in his room, there's no occasional opening door to check and see if one of us is coming. there's no whispering to himself about ideas to impress. which makes me curious. Makes me wonder if he hasn't slipped off somewhere."

She turned and glanced at him for a moment then pouted. "But that's hard, Sevilin. He puts on that face and even you can't resist it..." She closed her eyes a moment as he nuzzled at her neck and rested a hand on his cheek then moved it through his hair. She laid there for a moment, just being with him...until the silence between them was broken by a piercing cry. Sighing, she nuzzled at him one last time and then pushed herself up and walked over to the crib. Resting her hand on his back lightly, she waited for him to drop back off but he wasn't choosing to be that easy tonight.
Lifting the child back up and supporting him against her shoulder, she walked back over to the bed and sat back down, rubbing Kelligrin's back. Rocking the little one for a moment, she tried shushing him but his cries went higher. She reached behind her and untied the halter holding her nightgown up then settled the child at her breast allowing him to feed. Sure, he could eat solid foods and drink from bottles, but sometimes it was just easier this way. "Sorry, Sevilin."
Zykariel glanced up from the female he'd been systematically making out with and frowned. "No way, it's only been like fifteen minutes." The girl giggled and he smirked at her then tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and shook his head. Checking his internal clock, his eyes widened and he realized that Malikhai was right. "Sorry darling. Business calls." Pressing a kiss to her forehead, he turned and headed out of the tavern with Malikhai. "What happened between you and lacy chick?"

A shake of her head, "I knew it." Sighing and just brushing silver and red strands from her face. But a raise of an eyebrow and a look to her husband in that 'you didn't know yet?' fashion. "A'mael, you use our bond to track me all over the place, when are you going to start trusting the ones that you have mad or are making with your sons? That boy hasn't been in this house for at least the last forty-five minutes. I just let him think he can get away with it." A little chuckle at that. "Besides, he's so schudled normally it's good for him to be a litlee spontaneous. Believe me, I'm sure he'll be back before the time you set forth that you would be up there."
"Well, I regard his pushing like I used to regard yours, face and everything. Have to learn to turn it off and just go with the facts of the situation. Like when you want to ride horses about all crazy like when you're pregnant." Ah the power of example. But thier little moment of quiet and enjoying each other's company was broken by a fussy baby...though he was quite used to that by now, wasn't he? Very. Sitting up on the bed he plopped himself back against the pillows so that he was reclined there, reaching over and merely running a hand through his wife's hair. "Fussy children demand attention, can't be avoided. Besides, it's a nice thing anyway. When have I ever complained?"
His friend was good at the girl thing wasn't he? Being six months younger, he had to wonder if he himself was behind the curve or something. Not a thought he enjoyed. But it was nice to see that his friend did realize what time it was. "Bingo, so let's get going." Waiting for his friend before heaing out to horses and starting back home. "Um, she walked away from me? I think I got turned down, I'm not really sure..."

A small shake of his head.
"You know I don't use those bonds to track him. he's a natural telepath, and there are things that I don't want him to accidentally 'see' when my mind is busy trying to find him. but you have a point. he'll be back soon enough, to make sure he's available for this."

Her face pinched at the thought of the many arguments they had had over that very subject. He was entirely too protective of her when she was carrying anything that even remotely resembled life. This is why she'd stopped telling him immediately after she knew....although now she could definitely be sympathetic to Piper's griping as well. "Well, I suppose. But I did still do it so what did it really solve?" She glanced down and watched her son, keeping an eye on his breathing and such to test for when he was going to drop back off. His alert eyes weren't boding well though. Scooting a little closer, she rested her head on his shoulder and let Kelligrin eat. "Never. One of the reasons I love you so much."
"She walked away from you...was it huffy walking away or sauntering?" he asked hopping up on Destyny and urging her off. "Because if it was huffy then she was just restraining herself to keep from pouring her drink over you because you did or said something stupid. Knowing you, it could be that."
A shake of his head for a moment. No, his friend wasn't behind the curve at all. In fact it probably wasn't normal for a teenager to get the amount of feminine attention that he did, but then again he had his father's looks and his mother's charm and sexual awareness and no issues to clamp any of that down. Attention had started when he was about thirteen from older women at first and then he'd just grown used to it for a while before turning fourteen and that's when he began to reciprocate. "So which was it? Huffy or saunter?"

"Dear, you've got to stop being afraid of that. He knows how to control that now and knows how to keep it shut off or buffered. Just because you read out to him doesn't mean he's going to hijack the way back and get into your head." Reaching over and patting his hand lightly. He was so funny about it, like he could only trust her when it came to bond things. But a nod. "He always is, and we both know it. Boy is more scheduled than you...and I thought being a teenager was going to make things difficult. I know I was one hell of one."
"Mommy, bad word!"
"Sorry baby."
"And you got your fair share of scares because if it now didn't you?" Turning his look to her as she rested against him and let the baby go about what it did best. "There's no reason to complain." Lacing an arm around her and mentally go over the time in his head...and his little ploy for his eldest son. He'd get to take care of that horse tomorrow morning, but then after the boy wouldn't be seeing the hrose again until after dinner. Kid wanted to play hardball, he could too. But of course he kept those thoughts to himself.
"Um...saunter? She pat me on the cheek and then proceeded to move down the bar a few seats and seemingly ignore me." Shrugging lightly. "I didn't say anything stupid, you just think I do because you don't agree." ANother shrug as they were trotting thier way home and he was mentally monitoring time. Hm, may have to sneak in through his window.
