Nihilistic_Impact Please, Abi has had his a** handed to him each time he's launched one of his Black Crusades. Ahriman isn't that powerful either. You want to get ino powerful characters you look to the primarchs and daemon princes. Daemon princes are cool, but it would seem that Kharn would be more powerful than a Chaos lord as a daemon. Primaches are probably deadly though; but I'm not a Warhammer player as I said earlier. I don't know what I would use either, because Cziri is a a really special chaos character, as chaos isn't necessarily spilling blood like crazy; if anything, Cziri is closer to a merger of Slaneesh and Tzen****. Maybe a chaos army with a cool Lord of Change in the HQ spot.

My opinion on this subject of powerful characters and all of this conflict occuring about godmods: I have none.
All I can do is at least show to people that you do not have to have a powerhouse of some type to survive against other powerhouses. That is why I am using Sora as my character template. Why? He is well balanced, yet very technique to the point where he can rely on strategy and quick wits to win or at least survive a fight without pulling some comet out of the sky to destroy all creation. xd
Simply put, I think I will have no problem going up against this Kharn, Ertai, or anyone that you guys see as unstoppable. In truth, winning a battle isn't about placing the other into submission or killing, but proving that you can take on anyone through all odds.

Put aside this nonsense about Character Templates and their abilities and what not. Let this be a lesson to learn, your skill and powers do not come from the character which you use, they come from you and your knowledge. I could make a leaf that has fallen off a tree more powerful than any character you create because I can say this leaf is special and has powers blah blah blah. It is yourself which is the character.

Nah, we don't need a flood of Tzeentch followers. I'm already working on a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch and I already have one for Slaanesh. And the primarchs, save for most of the traitor ones, are dead.

V Ex-~ Ertai: Yes, you made me try to figure out how I could put down a planar magician that fights like you with a wind elemental. Sadly to say I still have not divised a way. And yes I'm trying to comprehend planar magic and psionics so I can fight against it without getting slammed. So you do create some drive and I suppose indirectly get people to learn their stuff, and with others you just piss them off. xd Varies with each person I suppose. But like I said, I have not divised a way to beat someone who fights like you with those powers. Yet. wink Anyhow, it's getting on for mid-night here, so g'night folks. It's impossible to counter planar-based attacks with non-planar attacks, you have to dodge the attack or prevent the mage from completing their long casting times. It's no coincidence that Ertai casts instantaneously and undodgably.

But I can also easily find a way to counter such a devastating leaf attack and at the same time, not have this character that can make a penny kill all mankind when it strikes the earth's soil, which would be pretty awesome. xp
I use character templates bc they do for me what I sometimes am too lazy to do: recreate myself, as you say. 3nodding Plus, I'm more into having fun than being serious in destroying the entire world. I think a warlord who has killed all life will live the rest of his life in misery.

For the record it's not Planar Magic. That is a totaly different thing than Planar Psionic's which is what I use.
You can dodge, counter and deal with Planar Psionic's as if you would fight someone with Magic or Melee, you just need to gain the experience and knowledge upon the situation. In due time most of you will have a general base in Planar Psionic abilities, than the next wave of abilities will come, so on and so forth.

I have yet to see someone who would be fun to fight here, I desire Epic fighters, flashy moves, near death encounters on both sides. Where the final scape of power comes down to that blaze of glory each has, bam, powers blazing, landscape melting, blood spilt on the ground below. The heavens shattering and the hells imploding. Such an epic fight that would draw all eyes.

There is more then telekinesis to psionics any ways. So you can't just limit it.

Trust me, you can get that epic fight. But only in different variations. And the type of battle you speak is the type where two or more people with the power to destroy the universe clash in the one place.

What do you call something manipulating the very fabric of energy which creates you as well as the existence you hold.
Or something that manipulates the very emotions, mindset and abilities for which you control?
Time manipulation?
Fire? Water?
Telekinesis is the mere manipulation of a physical object such as a rock and moving it from point A to B. This the manipulation of fire, water, light are all more advanced forms of movement and manipulation.
Psionic's include a wide and vast set of terms and abilities.
