Jericho looked at him cautiously before moving on with her question. "Who is Elle? What did you have together?" She asked carefully, quietly, looking at him intently, for any trace of reaction. The demon had noticed Alucard's actions and reactions when Elle had been in their presence, as had she noted Elle's as well.

"We..we were together..for awhile and then she...ended up with another vampire...but I took her back without question...and she told me she loved me...and I said it back......then I saved her from hunters in a sewer that tried to kill her....but...she "Got with" was with two other people in the graveyard this time...and...tried to kill herself arterward...so I left her with two other people that she knew at the church...and...thats pretty much it in a nutshell.." he said looking at the lake while closing his eyes which were hidden behind his romani glasses.

Jericho listened to his words, steadily taking in their past. She said nothing, but watched him sympathetically. "She still loves you, Alucard.." The demon said, almost too quiet to hear. Jericho looked back over at the lake, holding her sleeves over her hands with her thumbs.

He heard her voice very faintly and could not make out what she said, "What was that, sorry I did'nt hear you." he said wondering what she had said and what she had thought of what he had just told her.

Jericho looked purposefully down at her boots, "She still loves you." She said again, louder, certain that he would be able to hear her. Jericho didn't know what to do about being with Alucard, now that she knew of Elle's and Alucard's past. She kept her firm gaze on her black, knee-high boots.

"No...how can she love me if she did that to me....she does'nt, even if; I had enough of my heart broken to ever be with her again." he said looking at Jericho wondering if she could look at him again knowing of Elle and Alucard's past, wondering what she thought of him now that she heard what had happened.

"Maybe she did not know of the repurcussion of her actions before she comitted them. But she surely does now." Jericho said, closing her eyes before continuing, "I don't know what to say, Alucard.." She fidgeted with the zipper on her coat quietly, all the while keeping her eyes closed.

"Yeah maybe, but the problem was that she commited them in the first place...more than once.." he said looking away closing his eyes at the memories tearing him apart on the inside.

"You still think about her.." Jericho said knowingly, not opening her eyes or looking his way, "And I cannot change what happened between you." Her mind was seemingly set, her expression horribly blank, and distant. "I don't know if I could be with you, simply because I do not think it would be my place."

"I understand..." is all he could say at the sound of her words, he opened his eyes staring blankly at the lake.

"I'm sorry, Alucard.." She says quietly, opening her eyes, revealing their deep midnight hue. They reflected the spheric, glowing, moon in a glossy light. The demon chewed on her index finger nail, with her sharp, pointed teeth watching the moon, her expression still unreadable.

"Don't be...I understand why..." he said as he stood up, brushing off his coat and cracking his neck to release the tension on it.

Jericho nodded and crossed her legs, left over right. She said nothing, and looked at her nails, which were long and painted black. The demon shivered in the cold wind, but kept it hidden rather well, not wishing to show any trace of the cold racking her body. She looked at Alucard finally, her eyes still a dead, onyx color.

Alucard took a deep breath and looked at her smiling, "Hey cheer up it does'nt mean we can't be friends right." he said looking at her hoping she would cheer up so he would get to see her green eyes again.
