Uakia blinked fuzzly zoning back into the room. Why had she zoned out.. She rubbe dher eyes a bit wondering what just happened

Baizou looked up from his spot and glanced at Ukaia. "Feeling any better, Miss Ukaia?" he asked, ears perking up.

Trina shook her head, looking somewhat defeated. "No...Arian had been my friend... a very long time ago...but she was corrupted last time I dealt with her...dragging me back to my homeland...then fooling me when I escaped and made it back to this planet...keeping me from returning here for a while. Then she was killed..." Trina said nothing more on that point. "The other...the one who I run into...Sachin-" Trina shuddered at his name, as if it were something horrible. "He knew me all too well...and I can't tell why he is back...But I was having troubles with memories after Arian died. That's when I was having different nightmares...now they aren't even like dreams. Just...too real." She said. Lily had asked, so Trina had to tell. "River came into contact with a man claiming to wish to speak with me, claiming to be part of a society. She turned him away, and he assumed she was me....That was the last I heard of the group. No one has approached me since..." Trina shook her head. "I am not knowing about them...."

Ellie came downstairs, her wings fluttering uncomfortably. "Good ev'ning." she greeted, mumbling and grumbling. She sat down, but her legs kept moving to and fro. She had a severe case of the creepy-crawlies.

"Hmmm..." Lily frowned a bit, eyes both concerned and thoughtful. "This... Sachin... he may be the key." She gently squeezed Trina's shoulder, trying to reassure her. "We'll find the society... I'm sure we can. Next time River is around, I'll ask her for specifics, and maybe I'll be able to-" Abruptly, she stopped, inwardly cursing her current limitations.

The Muffin's Resident Duck was at Ellie in a second, tail swaying nervously. "Hey, love. Are you all right?" He asked, resting his hands on her shoulders.
Caradoc walked in through the back door with a brown package under his arm. With a quirked eyebrow he set it on the bartop, wondering what was inside.

Ukaia pulled the singed brownies out of the oven and sighed a bit. Not ot bad.. easily cut off around the edges. She looked at everyone and sighed. She wsn't alone.. Not completely. it was still hard.

Arlen reached out and gave Lily's shoulder a squeeze. "You'll be able to do it," he assured her. "You just need to rest for a bit."

Ellie laughed, nodding. "Yeah, fine. Just really bored..." she said, wrapping her arms around him. "I love you.." she whispered in his ear before kissing it lightly, and finally droppign back down to teh couch.

Trina nodded. "While I am awake, I am safe. I can wait forever." She said, though one doubted it. But Trina spoke with conviction. She would do it because she had no other option. And because she would not want to trouble Lily or Arlen, or anyone for that matter. No, not at all.

"Well, your world has been narrowed to Tomo, Ever, and I. Perhaps you should mingle a bit." Baizou suggested. "Ukaia just made brownies."
Caradoc got a pair of scissors and scored the packing tape, pulling open the box carefully. On top was a letter. He took it out and read it, laughing by the end of it. He looked extremely happy.
