Alright, then yeah, way too hard to explain. But she's being watched every step of the way while she has that thing with her. By someone very dangerous.
He's using her to spy on the Brink whenever she comes here. We can't even get it away from her because the Seraphim will know she's taken it off. She can't seem like she knows what he's up to or else she'll be in real trouble.

I don't know where to start even. I don't know how many people you've met here... If you've met the Captain... Well, alright, the Seraphim. From what I understand, he's an Angel who's gone bad, and now he's been assaulting the people who show up here.
I'm not sure what his agenda is, all I know is that he went to Luana before anyone could explain this to her, and convinced her that it was the Captain who was the Angel gone bad. That's all backwards, trust me. He's using her to spy.

From what I've been told about the Seraphim, if Luana does anything to make him believe she's changed her mind about him, I- I don't know what he might be capable of.
:::Kal thought back to the stories he'd heard of Cora being beaten near to death, and she was the strongest human he'd known, aside form Olsen at least. It scared him to think what the Seraphim might do to an average girl:::
