She couldn't help but interject softly, getting up from next to him, "We never ask anyone for betrayal..." As much as she tried to hide it, there was still a slight amount of irritation in her undertone. True, she knew that the Hunters would love to know where the coven was. But jsut because someone switched sides, she wanted to hodl to teh beleif that their telling where it was was completely voluntary. Moving over to the balcony, she walked out into the night air, feeling the refreshing cool night breeze wash over her scantily clad form. Closing her eyes, she drained the last of the liquid from the bottle, licking it lips afterwards.

*She smiled and bowed slightly as he did so.*
"The coven is....changing as always I suppose. A tradgedy indeed to hear of your um...change of favor?" *She took a drag on her cigarette then looked to Astande with a raised eyebrow...her green eyes flickering brightly for a moment..* "It is good to know its location has not left your lips.."

His smile is soft as Kerri speaks up, nodding his assent
"I know Kerri. This is not about the war. This is about the trust between our people. The hunters have been...gracious...to me."
He looks over at Rogue. His eyes portray an ancestral feeling, shared between the two of them. He speaks again to Kerri
"As i said...there is much to know about your new nature...you are a part of a different culture now..."
He nods seriously to Rogue
"Yes...well...the Coven failed me. Rogue, you have seen the weakness of those who dwell there. You are one of the few who still fights against those who are your enemies. Too many times has my hunt for a lycan turned into a clash against my bretheren. In war, there is no time for morals. It is kill, or be killed. I have always been the killer. I joined those who were like-minded...And even now, some dissapoint me...but none of them are human. It is a sad day indeed when those who have yet to evolve exeed their evolution..."

She didnt speak as she listened to them, handing the empty bottle out over the balcony edge adn dropping it, grinning slightly as she heard the glass shatter a few stories below. She didnt care about the angry shout of a man, who had apparently almost been hit by a shard of glass. Leaning out over teh balcony, she simply grinned at him, giving him a small wink.
Turning back inside, she smiled slightly, "Well, i hope i dont disappoint you." She grinned at him, plopping down in a chair and throwing her legs up over the side of it tucking a few tendrils of black and red hair out of her face. She knew that her change caused consequent changes for her. And up until now, she had held firm to the thought that she would be able to deal with it herself. His words had seemed to hit home for her. She could never be the same as she had been before her change. Now, it was time to accept that.

*Rogue looked to Astande and added a nod, then looked to Kerri.* "There is much to learn...and much to...accept.."

She was colapsed on her bed, tired but unable to sleep. Something was nagging at the back of her mind, but the alcohol had purged it from her system. She could hear the others in the apartment, and muttered to herself, "Should I be worried that I am the only human here?" She rolled over, the dried blood on her neck flaking off. She did not remember letting Rogue drink from her, but she had not seen the blood, so it did not matter. Only something was nagging at the back of her mind....

He nods soberly
"Indeed. There is much you will find...confusing...at first...but in time, you will learn the benefits far outweigh the shortcomings..."

*Rogue took a drag on her cigarette then walked to the balcony.*
"It has been lovely hanging with you all. If you ever are in need of assistance Astande, a good place too look is the Elders chambers in the coven. Happy hunting Kerrigan..." *Rogue jumped off the balcony to a lower building across the street.*

She muttered something softly under her breath as Rogue left. this new found revelation was eating up inside her. She had been having such a good time, and now it was all but ruined. No way was she going to let this run the rest of her evening. Popping up, she smiled at him, laughing slightly, "I told you. I'll pick the rest up as i go along. I tend to be a fast learner." Grinning, she leaned back against the wall she ahd migrated over to, smiling at him.

He waves to Rogue as she leaves, nodding at her invitation. He then looks over at Kerri and smiles, still lingering over her exposed bodice before reaching her face. He chuckles
"Well, i woulden't worry too much. Time is on your side now."

"Dont remind me," she said, chuckling slightly. That had been the other half of the problem for her. While now she would live for hudreds and hundreds of years, she would have to watch ehr human friends grow old and die...something she was unsure she would be able to do in the end.
Before she really knew what she was doing, she had crossed the room again, and gently hugged him. Quickly, she realized what she had done, and stepped back, running her fingers, embaressed, back through her hair. "Umm...thank you," she said, staring at the ground now to avert his gaze. The other arm how wrapped around her stomach, almost as if she were trying to shield it from view.

He seems surprised at first, almost ridgid, as if he wasn't sure what to do. Before he can do anything however, she moves away, looking embarrased. His shock is evident on his face. Interaction with humans beyond feeding became old a long time ago, and the feeling was never real. As if he were holding some kind of doll, a plaything. Worth nothing exept a good time now and then. He composes himself, clearing his throat slightly and letting a smile slide gently into place. That was probably the first real non-violent contact he had had with someone in over 6 centuries.
"Your welcome...i didn't have anyone to go to when i was turned. It was learn quick or die quick...I'm happy to help in whatever way i can."

"You have always been so nice to me," she said quietly, meeting his gaze with a soft smile. They sat in silence for what seemed to her an eternity. Finally, when she couldn't stand it anymore, she turned, almost as if she were unsure what to do now. When in doubt...drink.
Walking into the kitchen, she began rummaging around in the various cabinets, pulling practically every bottle of hard liquor she had out and setting it on the counter. She had to do something to get her mind off of the situation. While she appeared, at most, embaressed, in her mind, she was practically screaming at herself. "What the hell was that Kerri?! What is the matter with you! That was so ******** stupid!," and so forth. Grabbing a rather large, tall glass, she began mixing them together, pouring a little of this, and some of that. She concentrated on what she was doing, almost as if she were afraid to look back into the room.

He brushes his hair away from his face, a bit taken aback. He smiles though, rather enjoying her show of fluster. One can never really get used to compliments. He never had at any rate. They were always nice to hear. And when a naked woman, of your own race, gives you a compliment, and runs away to drink herself out of embarrasment, you listen.
"Well...what a night..."

"Yea," she said, bringing the glass to her lips, and downing the whole thing in a matter of seconds. If there was one thing about Kerri that people were starting to realize, it was that she coudl definately hold her liquor. Taking a deep breath, she did feel slightly more relaxed already. At least, the deep red tint to her cheeks had subsided somewhat. Cracking her neck, she walked back into the room, leaning against an opposite wall. She glanced at him for only a moment before turning her gaze out the window, feeling a cool night breeze blow past her. It ground a slight grin to her lips, the tips of her pearly while fangs gleaming slightly as they were exposed to view.
