9 tech elf goes over to counter and pulls out some lettice and tomatos and carrots and cabage and starts making a salad

Princess is yet again awoken by sounds of chatter.
She hears fellow House elves talking about being sorted.
"Princess is wanting to be sorted as well. However I thinks I am a few days away from the eligibility."
crying
Princess sits quietly on the floor daydreaming of how wonderful it would be to be able to go to the sorting hat ceremony. "Ahhhhhh" She sighs.
"Hopefully soon it will happen for Princess!"

*out of character* LilMeady, I agree. In the books, it is portrayed as being the "bad" house, but I think that in this guild there is absolutely nothing "bad" about it. I think people just don't want to be in it because in the books it was the house that all of the "good" people hated.
I do not mind whatever house I am put in, but I would prefer Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I think those two houses fit my personality best. I also think that I do not fit well in either Slytherin OR Gryffindor (as far as my personality goes). However, I will be happy with whatever house I am sorted into.
I hope that the "sorting hat" puts about an equal number of people into each house, though, because then there is more of an equal opportunity for each house to earn house points.

Heading down to the kitchens, Kaelyn overhears the elves talking about the coming sorting. She listens at the door for a minute before stepping inside.
"There's nothing wrong with us Slytherins. A few bad apples have spoiled the name for the entire house," She sighed. "I was just coming to get a glass of Eggnog and maybe a sugar cookie before I headed back to my common room, please?"

Kiki sees Kaelyn come in the kitchens and ask for eggnog and a cookie. Since another elf was already getting a cookie, Kiki went to get some eggnog. As she came back with the cup, she said to the girl, "Here you is, miss. Nice eggnog!"
