I might be getting one along with an extra battlewagon, but I was expecting more you know? The lobba is rather smallish and the killkannon isn't that much bigger than a regular kannon, not really a justification for a decrease in cargo capacity.

You could always convert your own; Ork vehicles are great like that.

I don't have that many spares and I rather like the Battlewagon kit. I might get it and the sprue but build the killkannon into the hull instead of in the rather clumsy turret.

I've seen your stuff, mate, you don't have enough spare parts from Guard tanks to carve up into a nice big Orky cannon?

I've seen your stuff, mate, you don't have enough spare parts from Guard tanks to carve up into a nice big Orky cannon? I'm keeping those for Guard related projects. I've already scrounged up all spare guns and turrets to build myself a Vanquisher and Eradicator. I might just get a BW plus sprue and mash that together with a spare truck I have lying around. Maybe rip the head off my Stompa and use that as a head instead.

The killkannon doesn't cut down the cargo? If you ask me it pretty much does, think of all the shells and loaders you need (which GW didn't add to the kit), just model it and you'll see that it takes up transport capacity.

You did? I thought you lot were talking about converting it, not adding functional crew and loading systems to the vanilla-kit, but nevermind me then... xD;;

Indeed. The guy really is quite an impressive modeler.
Ok, gang. To help kick off an event at my LGS, I'm going to be helping to put together some characters for every army. For Orks, there are three units I'm looking for. A Big Mek, a Warboss, and a Weirdboy.
I already have the idea in mind for my Big Mek, and I'd like your ideas on it and suggestions for points and stats.
Not sure on the name for him yet, but the gist is that the Big Mek is a tinkerer and a hunter, liking to take it upon himself to field test his gear. Well, after raiding an imperial world and seeing their use of war elephants, he came into a great idea. So he built Da Orkiphant, which is effectively a stretched out Deffdread. The Mek then built a kustom kowdah on top and rides there, using "dat boomy 'fing." My thought is that the gun is either a Deffgun or a modified SAG.
Thoughts?

DarkElf27 Cagalli Yura Attha DarkElf27 I think the only difference between 40k and fantasy orks is they steal better stuff in 40k. I thought fantasy orcs were beasts and 40k orks were a type of "fungus".. Or at least that was the story when I used to play. sweatdrop o.O since when where they fungus? well she is half right elf they are sortive fungus since their is no "female" ork there are only fungal growths that turn into living organisms
