Yugi peered around the park as well for a sign of Atem; no such luck. "Well, Atem was just with us a moment ago." he said, meaning him and Kira. "He just wandered away." He bit his bottom lip, not sure if he should be worried about Atem being alone or telling himself he was being too proctective.
That look vanished when he turned to Malik, unexpectedly throwing his arms around the taller boy in a brief hug. "Nice to see you!" He chirped, pulling away.

Yugi put on a fake pout, hands on hips. "Yeah, but with my hair I'm almost as tall as you." He pointed out, though he was used to being teased about his height. It was no secret that the boy was vertically-challenged, that was a fact. Yugi blamed his grandfather, who was no better off than himself.

Violet eyes narrowed dangerously, Khalid faced Shadi, trying to make out his figure in the dimness of the Shadow Realm. His arms were folded across his chest proctectivly, in between his two fingers the soul-card of Bakura. After the battle between the pharaoh and robber, Khalid hadn't let it out of his sight for a moment. He was disappointed that Atem had gotten the Millennium Items from Ryou's body; they could've proved useful. But now he was in a little trouble with Shadi for carrying the soul of Bakura.
Face as emotionless as a statue, Shadi's gaze was boring into Khalid's eyes. Shadi never trusted expressions; they might prove useful to fool somebody, but the eyes usually gave away your thoughts. Your very soul. So Shadi never truly showed any kind of emotion if he could help it. He wasn't angered, or even happy. He would kill mercilessly if he needed to, but would also tend to another's woundsif they were to live. All with the same black look.
Now was no different. To another, maybe, in Shadi's position, they would be angered. Or annoyed. But Shadi was nothing. He had just cornered Khalid, forcing the boy into the Shadow Realm before he could slip away again. This person was a mystery to Shadi; he had been blessed-- or cursed, depending on whose opinion-- with powers beyond his understanding. Khalid-- the name he had given himself years ago-- didn't know his true purpose. That was why he was suffering , why he was seeking the reason for his life.
But none of this concerned Shadi at the moment. Khalid was in posession of the tomb robber's soul. Shadi had known about the game the pharaoh set up, and thought that it was pointless. The two of them had allowed their feelings to control what happened; Atem with his compassion and Bakura with his greed. There had been a death of the robber's current host, which was okay with Shadi. Bakura was nothing but trouble anyway, messing with the flow of the Millennium Items. Without a host to carry the burdon of the Millennium Ring and the spirit with it, Bakura was powerless.
Shadi had confronted Khalid now against his personal opinion about Bakura; the robber still had to finish his business with others now. Fate demanded it, that was for sure. Shadi had more power with feeling the flow of fate than Khalid could, though the boy could feel it more than normal humans. Shadi's Millennium Items guided him, though. He was sure he'd be about at Khalid's standards without the Key and Scales. Which could mean that this boy was to take Shadi's place; but it couldn't be truly known until it happened. Shadi never knew his own fate, lest he try to change it.

Yugi frowned slightly, staring at the park entrance. He felt worry edging into his mind, about Atem. But this was lifted when his yami re-entered the area, Yugi smiled softly. "Oh, there he is." He said to Ishizu, nodding his head in Atem's direction as his yami approached.
Atem was shocked at first when he saw Ishizu and Malik, but the sight of the Ishtars also gave him a lighter feeling. Struggling not to let his smile show, Atem solemnly nodded his head in the siblings' directions, his usual greeting of choice. "Doing well?"

Ishizu cast a worried glance over to Kira before looking warmly at Atem. "We're doing fine. Nice to be in Domino, though it's hard to compare with Egypt." She said, then looked back to Kira. "Hey, do you think we could all go to your house or something?" She asked, still addressing Atem. "It was a long airplane flight and I wouldn't mind walking somewhere." Stretching her arms over her head, Ishizu still felt a little cramped up after the trip.

"Oh, of course!" Yugi exclaimed, feeling a little careless not to have invited them before. He looked over at Kira, and shook his head barely. "We can all go to the game shop if you'd like." Glancing up at the sky, he shook his head more visably. "It looks like it might rain... Better to be inside than out." What he said was true; dark clouds that hadn't been there a while ago were swirling in the sky threateningly.

Malik said, smiling, only a few of his cuts and bruises hadn't yet healed, in fact he could barely remember the last time he had seen Marik-- and he was happy about it.

A smile appeared on Ishizu's face. "Yeah, well I still don't like sitting still for so long. It's better to be out in the open." She looked over at Yugi, then up at the sky. "Yeah, you're right." She mumbled, nodding her head. She almost wanted to stay in the park with the rainfall; it would feel nice. "Okay, to Yugi's place."
