TeaDidikai Henry Dorsett Case I still need to get my hands on that game. Heard it was pretty awesome. I liked it. I have gotten my daughter to marry me sixteen times to date. I've heard of the game, but do not know the platform. Enlighten me perhaps?

Well, Andras Schiff was playing chamber music in the National Concert Hall for their Celebrity Series. Saturday night he played piano trios with his wife, a violinist, and a fellow Hungarian - an excellent cellist. The Beethoven was stunning that night. Then last night he played a concert of Lieder with Robert Holl, an absolutely stunning baritone. The most beautiful was the Schubert song "Im Abendrot," a poem by Karl Lappe set to music. All in all it was a pretty damn fine weekend. I'm also somewhat chuffed to know I could have translated the songs in the program better than the person they hired. Their idiot translated "Liebe" as "charity." stare >>Princess Maker wouldn't work on my junkheap of a pc! gonk

As if mondays aren't bad enough, as if getting up at seven oclock isn't in and of itself a pain in the arse... no... that's not enough. It had to be dark this morning. I hate winter. (While "technically" it may still be "Autumn"/"Fall", Ireland only has two seasons, "Winter" and "something else that's not quite winter")

I admit that prior to your mentioning it, I was ignorant of the term "Lieder". So it's basically a type of classical song for one singer and one instrument, na? I'm still looking for a transcript of "Im Abendrot", since the first ten pages of the search produced only commercial links. crying And you've started college, too! "Trinners" = Trinity, I presume? How I envy you! [/raving]

Heh. Probably the cookie at this point, really. A brain implant for flawless knowledge of Old English would also rock.

BlueRoseTorn VisasMarr Hey does anyone know of any good PC games or X-Box games that are kind of old (my pc sucks...well more accurately my video-card sucks) that are Adventure/RPG/Horror with a third person view (First person makes me sick, quite literally) that are really really fun? I find Diablo II to be a lot of fun, and I enjoy playing it with friends. It's addicting, actually. It's compatible with Windows '95, '98, and 2000. Played it already. I didn't like it that much. Though it was more fun to play with the boyfriend. Thanks though smile BlueRoseTorn I honestly forget whether or not this game is third person or first, but when I was a youngin', I enjoyed playing Zork Grand Inquisitor on Windows '95. I'm not sure how many copies of that game are still around, though. sweatdrop I wish we still had ours. Interesting... BlueRoseTorn If I can think of anything else, I'll send a PM your way. That's the most I can come up with off of the top of my head, for the time being. Oh thankies!!
