Hel pumped a fist into the air. “ Alright! That is the spirit, friend!” Lucky for you though, West, the reaper seemed to be intent upon bringing another being into this dance…the same one he happened to be trying to signal. “ Ah, but come this way first, ya? The more the merrier!” The reaper then darted from his side and ended up sidling right up and next to a certain Tatzel. “ Goodness, Levi.” The ghoul greeted in what sounded like…a purr? “ Those are some rather large spookies you got there…they look so delectable…like I could just bury my face in them and enjoy the sweetness.” Wait…she was talking about the food, right? Hel grinned, and hooked an arm with the ghoul. “ Oi. We—“ She jerked a thumb at herself and at West. “ Are about to go dance…you are coming, ya?”

He was still holding onto Lark just in case they needed to get away because Herryk decided to smash up the place with those large meaty hams that he calls fists but then the situation diffused and Freya was carted off like a sack of potatoes (that he still didn't want up his a** thanks), when his ghoulfriend spoke up he gave her a small sheepish grin, "There were a couple of times he almost did but I guess I am just lucky," he pressed a small kiss to the air where her cheek was as she suddenly moved and started dancing pretty much against him.
Kettil let out a small sound and briefly he blushed. He was a pent up boil with certain desires and needs and ...
Oh Jack.
He uttered sniffle of sorts and then he started to dance with her instead of standing there. Maybe he looked ridiculous maybe not. Kettil did not care anymore. His ghoulfriend was doing something that suddenly seemed so much more important than the possibility that the prom might come crashing down around them.

"HERRYK PUTS ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!"
Freya did not like being carted off like a sack of potatoes.

“We… haven’t seen each other since,” she replied, wary of where this conversation was heading, though it wasn’t as though Roch didn’t know what she was referring to. She really didn’t want to be a downer though, not on such a cheerful occasion.
Taking his arm, she replied, “Thank you, I must say you’re looking very suave too …. if not different.” Her pitch went up, her tone quizzical, staring at the punk reaper’s white number.
“I hope your date doesn’t mind, you look like you’ve been enjoying yourself,” she smiled.

Shaheen ended up dragging the girl towards the far wall, only stopping once they were well clear of most of the students before letting go of her hand and turning towards her. "We should divide the territory and patrol our sectors." She explained, not even looking down at Mitzi but instead continuously staring off into the crowds, as though hoping to spot the executioner that she was currently seeking. A small frown seemed to crease her features as though she just realized something, and her attention snapped down towards the Reaper once more. "Where is your date?" She asked, assuming that anybody who was at the dance must be their with somebody. "Have you lost him or her as well?" It never really occurred to her until now that this girl here might also be in need of some assistance. Then again, Mitzi had said that she had just arrived, so perhaps she just had not had a chance to meet up with said date just yet. The music had changed once again, this time to something that actually drew Shaheen's attention. It was...very catchy, and her head cocked to the side almost nodding along to the beat. Hrm, that was strange...The lyrics themselves were mostly unintelligible, almost like very fast chanting, and Shaheen quickly found herself almost mesmerized by the sound. Ol-j-man warning: approach at great risk of being drug out to the dance floor

Cackling at Jove's bolting from excitement and sudden embarrassment, Levi resisted the urge to boogie him. Have at 'em, Jove! No spookie'is safe! kekeke~Her eyes strayed over to West again as soon as they reached the table who seemed to be trying to signal her. What? As if he could hear her speak, the tatzel verbalized back, not computing his wrigglings. Was something wrong? Who was the ghoul? Was she bothering him? ... ... how was West not able to handle himself? Oh. OH! It was Hel! Well that changed everything. The ghoul had shoved one rather large crunchy spookie into her mouth when the valkyrie came on by with her boilfriend in tow. Pretty sweet, yeah! They made some'of 'em so big could barely git 'it in 'ere! Levi wanted to laugh, but that would mean bits of spookie flying all over the place; best not to. Dancin' huh? She swallowed what was left and looked at West's face with a sly grin before responding. Sure thing! Let's git'it awn, ghoulie! Yew too, West. This'I gotta see. Oh, she knew he could dance despite how he avoided it this prom. Last time he'd gotten down. Levi wanted to see him move like that again. The tatzel took the valkyrie's arm, following after her towards the dance floor, and gave a wave to Mot and Jove before being pulled away abruptly. Don't have too many 'a them spookies now!

All the cool kids hung out in the bathroom all the time.
Why else would they have made a point to make a thread for it this time?

Roch glanced down at his shirt. "It's the sleeves, isn't it?" he asked, tugging at the strange two piece sleeves. "I'll explain it later--sometime we ain't surrounded by noise and people," he told her, leading her easily around a few large crowds. "I'd offer to dance but I'm thinkin' this ain't your type of music--I know it ain't mine," he told her. "So... want a smoothie?" he offered.
So Moure and her were finished, huh? He couldn't say he hadn't seen it coming. But that was another thing that should wait for later. "They got some great flavors!"

He followed Hel for all of six steps before it hit him—a belated wave of the most delicious rage he had ever tasted. West had built up an admirable ability to control his spontaneous wrath intake, but this emotion barreled through that wall with barely any effort at all. It was gone just as quickly, but the damage had already been done. Thank you Herryk. The demon shuffled forward, swaying to a stop in front of the ghouls. Were they talking about...? Nah, they couldn't be. His arm rose slightly, fingers moving to brush a spookie crumb from Levi's cheek, but he stopped himself before it got very high, pinning it to his side with his other hand. "Not here," he said faintly, turning to Hel with a grin. "ARE WE DOIN' THIS?" he yelled instead, suddenly pushing his way between them like a pair of ghoul-shaped saloon doors as he invaded the dance floor. "Let's dance."

Amarus paused at the door. She bowed her head, shut her eyes, and tried to calm herself again. It was difficult to let go of the failure for which she had just been responsible; not only had she lost to Tseng, very poorly, she had upset Mot and made him practically run away. Amarus opened her eyes slowly, still looking at the floor. She placed her shoe on the floor and nudged it into the corner near the door with her foot; safe-keeping.
Well, it was a masquerade and she didn't have a mask, but... to go now would be to admit defeat. And that was not in her nature. Even if, at this point, she really just wanted to lie down and hug Ashbel and bury her face in his fur until she forgot that she was a ghost with no memories and all these confusing sentiments to manage, now. Amarus reached for her bound hair and coiled it around her forearm until she reached the end, where the sharp lotus charm decorated the binding along with her skull pin. She used the charm to p***k the tip of just one finger, and licked the pink-purple liquid that welled to the surface.
Immediately, her sense of calm returned. It wasn't as though her problems had been erased, and she still felt a dull sense of failure and sorrow somewhere buried in her, but her mind was clear now. That was what mattered. Forget having a heart-- she was a ghost, why would she need one of those?
And she was ready to ... well, face the music, she supposed. But she saw Kettil with someone who must be his ghoulfriend, and made a beeline for the Reaper. Deep down she would really like a hug, and to sob about her inability to play nice with new friends, but instead she just snuck up to Kettil, bells ringing, and tapped him on the shoulder, standing there with her hands clasped together and waiting to see if he'd be alright with saying hello.
She just stood there. Silently. Voice would have to come later, apparently.

"Was upset, calming down about it right now." Without missing a beat she tugged Siddie in pressing her lips to the smaller ghouls cheek. The faint purple lipstick she had worn to go with the dress left what she would call an adorable purple mark on Siddie's jet black cheek. "Just ran into someone who I'm not fond of is all." She peeked past Siddie at Clove in the mixer, "Little one doing okay?"

"Okay." Siddie cuddled up to Sammy, deciding not to ask. She didn't really want to know anyway. If she could ignore Sammy's frightening side, she blessed well would. "Clove was a little scared, but it's okay now. I gave it scritches and candy." She caught hold of Sammy's hand. "Let's dance a little, okay?"

Tap on his shoulder made him startle and suddenly his arms hugged about Lark's waist, "I SWEAR TO JACK I AM BEIN' GOOD I--," his head tilted back with a blush over his face deeper than the one earlier before that he had when Lark first started her little dance and his eyes soon saw Amarus and his expression still was sheepish but concerned. She didn't look like she was enjoying herself at all.
Carefully he let go of Lark's waist but did gently nudge her to face the ghoul that had approached them clearing his throat, "'Ey Lar, I want ya to meet Amarus," he said clearly just to give her a hint that their rather interesting dance interlude was now over with.
"Amarus this is m' ghoulfriend, Lark," he announced with a bit of pride in his voice all the while he kept Lark carefully in front of him for the time being. Don't judge. No judging allowed.
