Cassie wondered if she was wrong about Hartley's gang.. I mean Hartley himself wasn't that bad. She wondered where Dani was but then remembered she had a test coming up in Professor Allen's Chemistry class and went into the library to study.

*Chris wander the the building but he couldn't find Cassie or the kid that saved her. What if they left together? WHY WAS SHE DUMPING HIM?*

After studying Cassie asked the staff if Chris was working and apparently none of them had seen him. She sighed and stretched a bit. Then went to the cafeteria to grab something to eat.

::Wally came to a stop somewhere outside of the Great Wall of China. He breathed heavy and came to a rest against the wall.::
"D...damn it!"
::His uncle was supposed to understand! This school was like a dream come true to Wally. He'd always been the small guy, the nerd who'd been stuffed into lockers and kicked around for being a shrimp. Getting struck by lightning had been the greatest thing that had ever happened to him, and Wally didn't want to - couldn't waste a single second!::
"Hey."
::Wally looked up in surprise at someone standing next to him, leaning casually against the wall. It was a grown man, with short red hair and green eyes, smiling down at him.::
"Uh...hey."
::Wally wondered how this guy had found him. There was an awful lot of Great Wall to just happen to find someone leaning against. The man crouched down and picked a small white flower out of the greenery growing up against the edge of the wall::
"How's it going, Wally?"
::Wally's eyes narrowed as he looked at the man::
"Do I...know you?"
::The man laughed.::
"No, not really. Not yet."
"But you're a speedster like me, right? Uncle Barry said he met some when he was time traveling..."
"Yeah, I am. Taking a little trip through time myself right now, in fact. And I saw you here, and thought I'd stop for a minute and just say hey."
::Wally looked down at the grass.::
"Well, hey, then, I guess."
"Something wrong?"
::The man started pulling petals off the flower and letting them fly in the wind::
"Oh, it's just...I dunno. Uncle Barry says I need to slow down, and I can't. I don't want to. There's just so much I want to do, ya know?"
"Yeah, I know. It seems like a giant buffet of life right now, doesn't it? And you want to sample it all."
"Y-yeah! Exactly!"
::The last petal on the flower flew away in the breeze::
"Cool thing about buffets - they keep bringing out new stuff all the time. So you don't have to rush through all the courses, you know? If you find something you like, you can sit down and take the time to not just taste it...but really savor it. Enjoy the hell out of it. And when you're done with it, then it's what you remember the most about the buffet. I don't know about you, but suddenly I'm really hungry."
"Yeah...and I get what you're trying to say. I've been doing a lot of stuff, but not really taking the time to see if I really enjoy it. And I've been neglecting my friends...and Dani..."
::The man gave Wally a grin::
"Keep your friends close, Wally. There's some tough times ahead for all of you. You're going to get through them, but only if you can keep focused."
::The man rubbed Wally on the head. Wally reached down and picked up one of the small white flowers::
"Hey, what's your name, anyways? Has my Uncle Barry mentioned you-"
::But when Wally looked up, the other man was gone.::

*A senior, Eddie Brock, had just stepped out of the photography class and spotted the upset Powell. Chris had a run in with Brock last year and Eddie had been riding him ever since. Chris had managed to avoid the bully so far this year but his luck had run out.*
Look who it is...Lady Alice. Aw...you look like you're gonna cry! What's wrong, Princess?
*Chris stalked off but Eddie followed to continue razzing him.*

After class, Hartley was putting his flute away. Suddenly, behind him, Evan stepped out from the reflection on the side of a tuba.
"Ey, Piper. Got a message from Ms. Darkholme. We're havin' a pow-wow tonight to prep James for the debate tomorrow. You see the posters for the debate? They got yer number!"
Hartley polished his flute.
"Yeah, no instruments at the event. The pep band is PISSED. They think that the faculty has something against their performance of 'Hang on Sloopy' at the last game."
Evan sits on one of the seats in the band room and kicks his feet up on a music stand.
"You suppose it's true that James stole West's girlfriend?"
"Dunno. Don't care." Hartley thought for a second about Cassandra kissing his cheek. Maybe he'd bring that up at the meeting tonight...

Cassie got some chocolate milk but didn't stay to long in the cafeteria as it looked like alot of people wanted to talk to her and for whatever reason all she could think about was Hartley. But Cassie had a boyfriend.. she had a great boyfriend of whom she loved from the bottom of her heart but there was something about Hartley.. maybe it was how the green in his outfit brought out his eyes, maybe it was how sexy his voice sounded, or maybe it was just that he saved her. In any case Cassie wanted to get to know him better.. She went to the gardens so that she didn't have to deal with the crowds of peeps and cheerleaders. She was drinking chocolate milk on a bench.. and wondering about alot of stuff. Where was Dani and Wally? What would happen if Chris found out? What was Achilles up to?

*Eddie followed Chris across the quad and kept up with the name calling. Chris kept his anger in check due to Fury's warning. It was hard but he was able to grit his teeth and bear it. Eddie, on the other hand, was becoming increasingly frustrated. He was used to Powell swinging on him and then beating the crap out of the sophmore. He would just escalate it if he had to...Eddie pulled back a fist and sunk it into Chris's right kidney. He went down like a sack of potatoes.*
C'mon, Alice. Doesn't that make ya wanna hit me?

Dani Finds herself doing some yoga in the gardens when she smells some food. She fallows her nose to it's source to find Cassie sitting on a bench sipping her milk.
Slowly she walks up to her, smiling.
"Hey Cass, how are you? You seem deep in thought."

Cassie looks up at Dani..
" Oh hey Dani... just thinking about stuff. You know like how Hartley totally saved my butt earlier."
Cassie finished her milk and threw out the carton in a near by trash can.
" I mean maybe we were wrong about him.."

Heh, Yeah I know what you mean. Hartley seems like a cool guy.
Even better that he saved you.
And you know, James isn't that bad either.I was pretty pissed off at him for that prank he puled on me. But once you get past his goofball, trickster outer shell, he's kinda sweet.

*Chris's phone rang and Eddie couldn't believe that sophmore actually took the call.*

I know you had classes with Murdock last year. What are you doing, kid?

Forget it...defend yourself. Never liked that Brock punk anyway.
*Fury hung up and Chris dropped the phone. He climbed to his feet.*

What?! *Dani jumped out of her seat.*
We went to go see a mural on me as the subject!
*Started to get mad*
I mean That TOTALLY doesn't count as a Date!
We had fun! And we may have shared a frozen yogurt, but only because I forgot my money and he could only afford one!
I Totally adore Wally and would never do anything to jeopardizes what we have, But that doesn't mean I can't be friends with other people!
And it just so happens I haven't seen Wally since Hades! Days ago!
UGH! *walks away angry* I have to get to class, I'll see you later or something!
