Ζωή Μαύρο  "Dream as if you'll live forever, because it gives you something to live for,"Zoe blinked in surprise when Gage stabbed Luke in the chest. Thankfully, the spear wouldn't go deep enough to hurt anything.
"Wow. That was a smart move," She muttered, and smiled. These guys where better then she thought, especially Gage. She watched a sword grow in his hand from his gold ring and nodded in approval. In this fight, Luke had the upper hand being a black-belt in Karate but with Gage having two weapons on him, they were equaling it out pretty well. She pulled her dagger from the side of her boot, the leather sheath tight around her ankle. She twirled the celestial bronze in her hands, the metal glinting in the bright sunlight as she watched them both. "Live as if you'll die tomorrow, because its always a possibility." "Mm, don't underestimate me," Luke responded. Although a bit of blood was seeping from hsi chest, he used his close range to launch a flurry of kicks and punches using one of the many forms he had learned in karate. Alhough a few may miss, it was almost without doubt that the spikes on his knuckles would hit Gage at least a few times.

Mistake Number Two. Getting in close range with a wizard of the blade such as Gage. He wasnt the best spearmen but he was a expert swordsmen. Before Luke could even take a pace towards him Gage gad his sword drew and pointed at the base of his neck. Luke was already wounded from a two inch gash in his chest. If he continued and it continued bleeding he would die. Besides if this were a real battle Gage could have killed him then and there. As Gage kept his sword pointed at Lukes neck,keeping them at a standstill the ground around them began to ruble. Suddenly Gysers of water erupted from all around him and a Insignia of a Trident and Fish appeared above his head"I am Gage Butler,Son of Triton"

Luke raised his eyebrows with the sword at his neck. He pushed it away calmly wth his protected hands as the geysers started spewing.
"Well, look there. You won a fight and got claimed at the same time. Don't you feel special?" he asked. He was obviously quite annoyed. "For the record, though, you mght want to get your girlfriend to check your shoulder." He pointed at Gage's left shoulder, where one of Luke's attacks had met their mark. Blood was seeping from it.

Jake finished the song with a flourish. He then slung the guitar behind his back and turned to Zoe. "That was an amazing fight, wasn't it? I mean, I haven't seen any Half-Blood fights before, but compared to an MMA match that was awesome!" he said. Jake walked over to Luke and clapped him on the shoulder. "You were awesome man! You looked like frickin' Jackie Chan out there!"

Gage went over to one of the gysers and touched the water. Immidiatly as he did so the water rushed up his arm and healed his wound,in fact he felt better then before"You have much to learn about battle,but your not hopeless" Gage nodded his head to Jake"Dont bother we both know who won,take him to the infirmary soon or that cut will bleed out" Gage then strolled over to the section of the stands Zoe was in and sat down next to her. He took off his helmet with an exhasperated sigh and wiped beads of sweat from his forehead"I think that went rather well dont you?"

"Thanks, Jake, but Jackie Chan would have won ths fight," Luke said, shrugging. "As for you, Gage, don't be a sore winner. I have no respect for you as it is. I don't think you want to spread that little bit of enmity to the entire camp."

"I think you would care," Luke said, "If every person in camp knew that you refuse to respect those you battle. If I remember correctly, although I'm not sure I do, someone with my exact name was a rival of a son of Neptune just a few years ago. They still respected each other's battling skills, even if they hated each other. You, though, throw off even the slightest suggestion that I was a good challenge."

 -mαc lumínαírє- Son of Neptune? That's...odd. Mac mused to himself. He was aware that he had just recently arrived at camp but something about the statement seemed odd. Neptune...that's Poseidon, right? Why would he call him by his Roman name? Despite his sudden distraction though, Mac had been watching the events with interest. The son of Triton had won the fight but he really had taking the wrong way. A smirk appeared on Mac's face. Maybe he needed to be taught a lesson. Afterall, trouble was his specialty. He could have laughed at the possibilities. Then an expression of confusion spread across his face. Why was he so sure he could teach a lesson to him? He had just arrived at camp. Didn't even know how to fight. It was strange. Mac tried to remember but it was as if something was hiding from him...just out of his grasp. Finally, he shrugged and let it go.

-mαc lumínαírє- "Excuse me." Mac said, seizing his chance with a mischievous grin on his face. "But if you're so sure you will be perfectly fine, why don't you fight me? I'm new and I could use the practice." he glanced at Luke as he said it, the grin never dropping from his face even though he had no idea why he had just said that and no weapon on him at the moment. It was one of those rare impulses that he was getting recently. Not that he remembered anything that wasn't recent.

Finally, the fight was over and Gage was quickly loosing blood. She nodded once and pulled out a box of ambrosia from her pocket, tossing Luke a square.
"Eat it now. No need to visit the infirmary. Personally, I think you should only visit the infirmary if your literally about to die... Which as a warning will happen a lot," She added the last part thoughtfully and cast the new campers a twisted grin.
"I think it went pretty well. I didn't think either of you could actually land some really damaging blows," She said as she turned to to Gage with a warm grin, then glanced at the other new camper.
"No way. If you want real practice, fight me. I'm feeling a bit left out, watching them fight," She said and flashed Gage a quick smile before standing. Finally, she could show what a real camper fought like. Yeah, they were good but she had been doing this for the past three years of her life. Jake put himself between Luke and the new guy. "Buddy," he said to the new guy, "You've got no weapon, no armor, and my friend here really needs to be bandaged up. Please, just step aside." Jake turned back to Luke. "Luke, you're gushing blood from you're chest man. Let's get you to the infirmary. I've got some Mt. Dew and Doritos back in my cabin. But first things first." Jake walked over to Gage. He held out his hand. "You may not respect me or my friend, but I've got to admit, that was impressive. I'd like to extend a congratulations from my self and all the people of Cabin 11." Jake had no idea why he was being so formal to a guy who just kicked his friend's butt, but it just felt like the right thing to do.
