We are the swift... We are the strong...  Pepperpaw"You think I'll be happy while worrying about you being out here on your own?" [Pepperpaw shook his head and stepped in front of Joypaw to stop her. He didn't want her to go because of a decision.]
"Look, you deserve a much better tom then me. I will admit, I still have feelings for you but I have to commit myself to Spadepaw because that is the path I chose. And despite what you might be feeling right now, I have no doubt in my mind that you will push past this." [Pepperpaw used his most encouraging voice, trying to make Joypaw realize he was telling the truth. If anyone could pull themselves up from a pit of despair and sadness it was Joypaw.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

But if I stay, it'll be sadness. Okay, it may seem like I'm full of energy, but that energy is to cover up all of my sadness. I've already been through a lot. I just need to escape. I don't care if you don't come after me or stay here with Spadepaw. Just remember I always love you, okay?'' Everything poured out of her.

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw "So you're going to run from your problems, is that it? [Pepperpaw said with a steady gaze.] "I understand your feelings for me and I know you've been through a lot. But you need to understand the you are not the only one who has gone through turmoil in their life."
[Pepperpaw turned himself so he was facing directly at Joypaw. He let his fur rise slightly and his tail lash from side to side.] "I can't let you go. If you want to leave, then you have to get through me."
[It wasn't necessarily a large risk so much as physical harm, it was more emotional harm he was worried about. He feared how Joypaw would react to him putting his paw down and refusing to let her go. He hoped with all his might she didn't see it as a betrayal. If she did, then there was a chance that she could over react and cause physical and emotional harm to both of them.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

I know I've made decisions I should keep, but you need to know that I hate my decisions. I have never been happy with my decisions, it just brings me sadness. B-but this decision I'm making right now, is the best choice, even if I don't want to leave my family, friends, and you..''She meowed looking at him with sadness and pain in her eyes.[Her heart was breaking, but she knew this was best for everyone.]_________________________________

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw [Pepperpaw didn't know what to do. Joypaw sounded like she wanted to go, but he couldn't bring himself to let her. There were so many dangers out on the moors and beyond the borders, it was just to risky.]
"I'm not going to let you go. Like I said, get through me, and you'll have free reign to do what you want." [Pepperpaw this time to make sure he looked serious, crouched into a battle stance. It wasn't the perfect one but it was the best he could do with the tiny amount of practice he had been given.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

[With a sad face, she charged toward Pepperpaw and tackled him. With him on the ground, she ran away.]
[After a long length she turned around to face BreezeClan territory.]
''I'll see you in a moon Pepperpaw..'' She turned and ran off._________________________________

We are the swift... We are the strong... Pepperpaw [Pepperpaw braced himself for what was to come. But despite his preparation he was still knocked backward. He reached his paw with a his once the weight of Joypaw was removed. All that was left were a few strands of her fur in his claws.]
[He wouldn't give up that easily there was still some light, not much but enough. He pelted off in the direction of Joypaw's scent, hoping that she would have forgotten about leaving a trail. He turned his head every which way looking for her bright coat. Once he got to a large patch of heather he sped up. The scent from the brightly colored plants covered Joypaw's trail, making it harder to follow. He wanted to get out of the patch as quickly as possible so with a grunt he pushed forwar d even faster.]
[Pepperpaw couldn't see any sign of Joypaw. What if she was really gone, what if she didn't come back in a moon like she had said earlier. His mind wandered to all the possibilities of the situation, so much so that he didn't notice a snake hole until it was to late. One of his hind paws sunk into it and twisted in an awful direction. He yowled in pain while falling forward. His paw did come out of the hole but not without difficulty and much pain.] "Fine, you want to leave the clan then fine! [He bellowed all around him.]
[Getting up and whimpering in pain he slowly limped back in the direction of the camp. Every ounce of pressure on his twisted paw made him screech in pain, so he dragged his paw rather then using it to support his body weight.]
[It was getting later by the time camp came into view and while he balanced and walked of three paws he couldn't rid himself of the guilt that twisted his stomach. In through the entrance and toward the apprentice den he went. He passed Spadepaw on the way, trying his hardest to look happy until he was out of ear shot. Rather then visiting Iceears, Pepperpaw laid outside the apprentice den, curled so he could look at his paw, which was now burning in pain.] We are and always will be... Breezeclan...

Katikat22 "You have got to be kidding me!"[She grumbled. How did Spadekit become an apprentice before her?] (I thought I already posted this, but whatever.)
[Iceears had watched Spadepaw's ceremony from her den. She nodded to herself knowing that know was the time to approach Breezekit. Iceears quickly stood and bounded over to the over-aged kit. Iceears stood next to her, hearing her complaint and said,]
"It's high-time you became an apprentice and being meddicine cat on my own is difficult, how would you like to be my apprentice, Breezekit?"

BreezekitI never dreamed this would be my path,"Me?"[She mewed.]"A medicine cat apprentice?"[She started hopping around excitedly.]"Yes! This is so cool! I will try my best to serve my clan!"[She said as she tried to go from hoping to standing still and serious, but she tripped and fell.]"Um, sorry."[she mewed nervously as she got back up.] yet it seems that it true....
