The detail is that Vampires don't actually turn to ashes when the sun hits them. Now, I highly doubt that they are supposed to sparkle in the sunlight, though (that's the very skewed part of it).

I would as well but the issue is.. the material is normally cheap or really shitty so I end up not buying it anyway. Besides, I could go to another store on a website, get better material for half the price and those shoes would last me years.

I don't get what the huge "bawww" about Twilight is anyway.. The "myth" has been stretches for AGES but because this is popular with a twist and some half assed Marry Sue.. people gotta cause drama about it. neutral
First, vampires were just boogy men of sorts to scare children into going to bed early.
Then they suck blood
Then they can walk through walls
The only thing to keep them back was a cross or holy water
Now garlic is added to the mix
Then they can vanish out of thin air
Then they can fly (jump really high and make it look like they can fly)
Then they can turn into bats
They can't walk into the sunlight
Then they can "only" wake up at night
Then it goes to "well, they can only come out at night"
Originally, they were only white
Now there are black vampires
Then there are half blooded vampires
Child vampires
Vampires giving birth to vampires
Do I need to go on? neutral So what, they can sparkle and don't explode in the sunlight, that isn't a huge stretch.

I have a issue with dhampirs and vamps making babies too. Dead sperm doesn't swim! scream
The not burning in sunlight would be workable but I think the sparkling was just a jump I am not willing to make.

If dead men don't walk but undead men do, then can undead sperm swim?
My brain has to argue that it follows logic for baby vampires to be possible but I don't like it. gonk

That's very true. Basically how rumors are spread. Someone says something. Another hears it and says to another. They tell someone, etc... until it's become so completely different to what was originaly said.
@Dy: I was talking about how it was correct that they don't burn, even though still wrong. I never said that was the only thing messed up. That was the closest thing to being right about it.

xp But now it's completely different, I mean heck, for the longest time vampires were said to be able to fly, turn into bats and walk through walls.... Look at them now.. nothing. Look at the Blade movies, not ONE turned into a bat OR walked through a wall... I don't see raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage!! topics about that xD

heart I was a huge vampire fan but dammit.. the instant I mention "I like vampires" I'm attacked because I'm automatically put in the group of "omgwtmfh she's a twilight freak!! Go hump your rob pillow! D<" gonk But.. I like Twilight.. I'm not a hard core fan, I'm not crazy. I read the books once, bought them all, watched both movies (which I prefer the second one because Jacob is kinda hot @-@ ) and lookie.. you don't see me acting like a nut case D=

Like.. seriously? Most of the people bawwing haven't even read the book or at least gave it a chance.. They bash the movie instantly (though the movie is really different from the books) I mean... common. If you are going to bash and b***h about something, at least know what you are talking about before you open your mouth.

The nails and hair continue growing after you are dead, parts of the body continue living for a while even after you are dead. But look at it this way.. they are "undead"... D= If they can walk around killing people, who's to say the blood doesn't keep the sperm alive for a few hundred years before it finally dies off from age? xp ...after all those lies you told?

If you want creative words meaning dark, then how about Sable, Somber, Swarthy, Obscure, Opaque, Sullen, Murky..... Wow. There's a lot of words starting in S that mean Dark.
