[[Louis : Narnia : Seymour's Castle]]
Louis said nothing, he just listened to the woman speak as well as his ally. He glanced over to the door where the unfortunate guado that had tried opening the door in the midst of his rage tip toed in glancing carefully in their direction. He sighed and looked over to Nick again while he finished his statement, Holy Women...
Louis could feel the term stir up a rage in Mateus who he had pressed to the back of his mind as best he could. He could tell, Nick would never trust him, which was for the better he supposed. If they trusted each other, they'd become sloppy. This would be a good reminder to them both never to let their guard down for a moment, else Chaos or Mateus may just get their wish.
Finally, Louis spoke after a drawn out silence, "Why chose Ivalician when you knew nothing about it? If you're not careful, you might compromise The Measter's plans that way."

[Isle of Tortuga ~ Port]
Noelle shifted her wight and stood in a more casual stance known as contrapposto, watching Jacob with a slightly amused look on her face. "Oh, the gallows? Well that sounds fun. Nothing like some good, completely healthy danger. My name is Noelle. Welcome to the . . . clan? Herd? Yeah, herd is a good word for it."
'So there are still more earthlings around?' Looks like it . . . really makes me wonder how many of us there really are. I mean, if we keep finding people, there has to be a few more we don't know about, right? 'Try not to get your hopes up.' Huh? What do you mean. 'I know what you're getting to. It may be nice to think that you might find a member of your family, but it's not likely.' . . . So . . . it's still nice to hope. 'I know it is . . .'

[Joe: IoT: Port/Oceanedge]
The fighter sat on the edge of the port, legs dangling over the edge as he was staring out at the grey water, his uninjured hand gently rubbed the bruised knuckles on the other hand. He focused on the crashing waves against the port's walls, ignoring any speech he could've overheard. And the buzzing in his head from Sylph. Though that was a bit harder to tune out, he still managed it.
"Louis is gone...huh...." Joe mused over this fact. A small part of him cared. The rest of him did not...and couldn't. The wonderful world of surviving tragedy.
Joseph laid back, staring up at the sky with a blank look on his face. Kyle was stupid, Louis was stupid, everything about this entire damn situation was stupid.
That's two of the espers from twelve, Ultima not included. And they're dangerous. But the replicas...we know there's more than just two, and they're just as strong...right? I think so, at least. A replica wouldn't go down as easily as Chaos just did.
With a sigh, the fighter closed his eyes and took a deep breath in, then let it out. Another in, and out. Another in, and out. He had to get rid of the anger over what he considered was stupidity.

{Kyle : The Betting Table}
Cory really is a physical behemoth. He can crush my stone pillars just like that. That's...ridiculous. What's sad is that I'm not even surprised anymore.
Indeed. His strength and speed are incredible. He is not somebody that we can afford to underestimate more than once. And we already have. Assume from now on that he can use that instantaneous movement ability whenever he desires. Always prepare for a follow-up attack. We have no way of knowing if he has a limit on those movements.
He's going to be a pain in the a** to fight. But I can't really say anything. I chose this path. But I need a way to find him. Wherever he is, I need to be able to find him. Anything we can do about that?
So you desire something similar to what Alan used before? He did something to scan the area before, but it didn't seem to be scanning for life forms touching the earth. I couldn't tell you what it was, but you desire something different than that power.
Yes. I don't care about their health, their magic, the weaknesses, the strengths, I want to be able to tell their position at all times. No matter how lightly they touch the ground, no matter their posture, I want to be able to find them.
Fine then. Concentrate on the feelings of the earth beneath you. It'll only take a bit of your magic to get the feelings. Not even a truly noticeable amount. However, if you use it for too long then you will run out of magic. When you get stronger you'll be able to scan for longer. So I'd advise you to get stronger.
I know. I'm going to try scanning right now. Focusing completely on the earth and the magic inside of him, he sent a small pulse into the ground, not knowing what he was looking for. He repeated the process several times until he realized what it was. Vibrations. He was looking for the vibrations that people made while walking, running, fighting, whatever they were doing on the ground was sending out vibrations that he could locate with magic. And while he might not have been able to detect people when they were standing perfectly still, as soon as they made a move he would follow them. It would work well against Cory because he would have to touch the ground and set off vibrations. Either that or he would be stuck to aerial attacks.
{Kyle learned Tracing the Steps!]
While all this happened, Kyle had ignored the battle around him, focusing completely on the earth. But he had it figured out. He knew how to send out a continuous pulse of magic. It was rather easy actually. The earth was a wonderful conductor for vibrations. Unfortunately, he had a bad time of it when he came back to the battle. For some unknown reason, he hadn't even bothered to think about why two new vibrations had appeared. But when he opened his eyes he understood. His summon is ---!? And that means the god is probably with him...FFFFFFF And then it began raining fire. So this is what Alan meant? Thank god he cast Regen on me first.
And there was Cory, attempting to take Alan out. But he couldn't worry about that. He had an ethereal samurai aiming to destroy him. Which would be bad. But then Alan's summon came to his rescue, stopping the samurai in his tracks. And causing him to retreat even. And Kyle could feel it all. "I can do this. I can find them now. He won't surprise me again." He said to himself softly, watching the ongoing battles. He didn't really have a chance to step in either. So he stood silently and watched Alan's last attack. Soon enough he felt the rain of fire stop hitting him, letting the Regen work it's magic, healing the smaller wounds on his body.
And then Alan fell. He watched it and felt it. He almost didn't want to watch, but he couldn't look away. He wouldn't look away. He was honoring his comrade by watching. He'd been amazing in the battle. And now Kyle was going to finish it.
Watching the pillar of fire, he felt Cory roll along the ground after escaping the pillar, then stomp out his jacket. Then he dismissed the summon. So it would be a fight between just the two of them, huh? Fine. He could do that.
With his head just slightly tilted to the left, he regarded Cory as the other tried to stare him down. "Yeah, it is just us. But Alan's efforts didn't go in vain. He did plenty to harm you. But don't think that I'm going to get caught by that fire again. I know what it's capable of. And I won't let you hit me with it. So, shall we begin?" He asked, his voice easily carrying over to Cory. With that said, he made sure the pulsing magic was being sent out, bit by bit. If Cory moved, he would feel it. But should he start the exchange of blows? Yes. It was better than giving Cory any time to recover.
Rushing forward, Kyle thrust forward with his left katar, only to reveal it as a feint when he veered the blade away, spinning on his left heel, to kick at him with his right foot. If the kick connected, he would follow it up by chasing after Cory if his hit sent him flying, if he blocked it, he would twist around to attack with his left katar.

[Cory .:. The Betting Table]
The ronin kicked off into the air as Kyle charged at him, soaring over his assailant's barrage of attacks and landing neatly on the ground behind the terramancer, his arms spread out like an Olympic gymnast. "10's across the board, boo-ya!" Cory turned around, taking a few hops backwards from Kyle as he said, "Getting a little hasty, are we? Attacking an unarmed man- how delightfully rogue of you. I can't wait to win your allegiance!" He fell once again into a fighting stance, waiting for Kyle's retaliation. However, he wasn't about to waste time- In his left arm, Cataclysmic energy had begun to charge itself into his fist, preparing for one of Cory's Cataclysm techniques.
"Show me how hasty you really can be. Right now, in terms of stamina, we're fighting on almost equal footing. This fight can go either way. Should you charge in blindly again? Or should you wait for my move instead? Oh, the suspense is killing me!"

{Kyle : The Betting Table}
Whipping around, Kyle looked instantly at the spot where Cory landed, the vibrations betraying his position. He couldn't hide on this field. But he couldn't help but smile as Cory started talking. He was certainly interesting. "Well, to be fair, fighting you even when you don't have a weapon doesn't seem to bother you. And, I wouldn't exactly call it rogue. Just...taking advantage of a situation." He said smiling a bit as he watched Cory jump backwards a few times.
It was a tempting offer, charging in to attack, but he wasn't going to be stupid. Cory was right. Victory was capable of going either way. And he was going to win. He was close. Very close. But he wasn't there yet. So he would attack, but not blindly. He would wait. He wasn't foolish enough to assume that Cory didn't have some trick up his sleeve. He would feel Cory's footsteps wherever he went, and if he tried to sneak up behind him, well, he would attack. So, dismissing his weapons, he raised a hand and did the typical response for bring it. He faced his palm towards himself and bent his fingers in twice. Then he summoned his weapons again and got ready for his attack.

[Cory .:. The Betting Table]
Cory scratched his head for a moment, not quite sure what to make of Kyle's "bring it" gesture. He thought for a moment with his hand on his chin, acting as though he had an idea a few times, only to shake his head and mumble, "No, that's no good..."
After a minute of this, the rogue finally shrugged and said, "You're too confident." With that, he rushed forward at Kyle, a glint of amusement in his eyes as he brought back his left arm for the attack. Just before reaching Kyle, he jumped into the air again, staring down at his target as he brought forward his right hand...
And began swinging it as wildly as he could. At first, it would look like he was just playing around, but the crimson color raining from above would reveal a different sort of plan. By using the open wound on his hand, Cory was slinging blood at the terramancer, aiming for Kyle's eyes so that it would destroy his field of vision. the ronin then followed up by releasing the energy charged into his left arm, firing a condensed beam of azure energy in Kyle's direction. Even if his opponent dodged, Cory would still be able to make use of the beam, as it would not lose it's shape or momentum until either he willingly ended it or until the opponent shattered it.

[John.:Angel Grove:.Command Center]
John had quietly been following the group, not saying much of any importance. For really, what could he say? John's story with Power Rangers was that he began to really like them when he was younger, but then tried to imitate the moves on his older sister, and thus, he was banned from watching it forever pretty much... in essence, his childhood was destroyed. Yay for destruction!
So now, he could see everything he was missing. Zordon and his big ole' head was easily remembered. The blue ranger who he now knew as the Aryan one in the back of his mind, Ivan Ooze of whom he only heard about and was fascinated by the fact that everyone had more knowledge about Power Rangers than he could ever hope to understand. His childhood was spent doing things like... compost diggin'! YAAAAAAAAY...
...so Ixion, you find any cute little females stallions lately?
Please do us both a favor and at least keep quiet...
Aw, comon' you can tell me. You mighty fierce, rrrrrrrraaargh.

{Kyle : The Betting Table}
"Not too confident. Just confident enough." He said, watching as Cory began his next move. He came charging at him, in a rather predictable pattern. Then he jumped. And then he began slinging his...blood? Really? Was Cory honestly trying to blind him? Had he, well, forgotten about his hat? Smiling slightly, Kyle his hat off of his head and simply held it up to block most of the blood. Oh, some got on his clothes, but none got in his eyes. Sure, his hat had, well, more than a bit of Cory's blood on it, but he was confident that the dress sphere would remove it.
And then Cory launched his beam of energy. Not like he couldn't dodge it. Which is precisely what he did. Running straight past the angle that the beam was coming at him, he ended up running underneath Cory, then get back into a stance to strike him when he landed. He wouldn't jump away from the earth. It was the source of his powers after all.

[Cory .:. The Betting Table]
Cory stared down at Kyle, covering his mouth as he yawned. It was a strange scene, seeing the ronin simply hanging from the ethereal pillar he'd launched into the ground. Almost comical really, so much that Cory couldn't help but smile. "'Gee, I know! I'll wait for him to fall, and attack him when he does!' If I was a pigeon, I'd feel the strong urge to drop a deuce on you. Hell, I almost feel like doing that anyway." The ronin pulled on the pillar, launching himself higher into the air as the beam shattered from the pressure he exerted on it. After all, his magic wasn't that strong.
The spin around in the air as he ascended, Indomitable Will gathering on his right leg as he did so. He then began his descent, spinning like a top with the black and blue fire flaring out from his leg. He finally neared Kyle and the ground, striking down at the terramancer with all the momentum he had built, as well as the Resolved kick itself combined with the gravity of the fall. Even if Kyle dodged, the radius of the attack would sending him flying, though it wouldn't damage him nearly as much.

"You'd have to take your pants off first. You'd probably have to stop your beam first though." And then he did. For a split second, Kyle was almost worried that Cory was going to try it. If he did, well, he would find quite a few rocks being shoved places they didn't naturally belong. But then he realized that that would be a foolish thing to do in the middle of a battle, and he was positive that Cory wasn't a complete moron. But he'd at least broken the magical pillar.
Yeah, because that isn't predictable. Why would I stand directly under him? That would be stupid. If I lost because of that I would accept it. But I should probably move now. So thinking, he started to run out of the way, turning to look back when he felt sure that Cory wouldn't hit him. And then Cory struck the ground. And Kyle flew. It was an unpleasant experience. But he hit the ground in just a few seconds and tumbled. Standing back up, Kyle sent out an Earth Fang at Cory, hoping to get him while his guard was down.

Cory rushed forward at the Earth Fang, feinting to the side at the last moment, though he winced as a spike tore at the edge of his shoulder. It didn't help that the burns started screaming at Cory as well, but he wasn't about to stop. The ronin continued forward, launching a pair of Indomitable Firagas at Kyle as he closed the distance. Darkness flared up around the ronin's legs again as he kicked at the terramancer, aiming for the side of the head.

Catching the feint, Kyle almost ran at Cory, but the Indomitable Firagas kept him at bay. He dodged one and blocked the other with his katars, but he got pushed back by it. And then came Cory's physical attack. Kyle certainly felt him get close to him, but he was still dizzy from the Firagas. But he wasn't going to let him get a direct attack.
Putting up his katars, he just barely managed to block the kick, but it sent him flying again. This was getting ridiculous. He needed to end it. Twisting his body, he landed on his feet and took off for Cory, stabbing with his katars, noticing a dull throb in his hands. He wished the Regen was still active, but he had felt it leave a while ago.

"End game; Here it comes!" Indomitable Will and darkness began to gather, strangely enough, in Cory's right arm. It was obvious that he wasn't preparing for a Cataclysm technique, since the Will was not glowing as intensely, but striking with his fists was completely not an option at this point in the game. He fell into stance as he grinned at Kyle, thankful that he had finally charged.
In an instant, Cory Burst inside of Kyle's swings, directly between both katar. His elbow was already brought up into position aimed directly for the center of Kyle's face as he shot an Indomitable Firaga behind him, further solidifying the the strike itself Cory hoped this would end it, but knew that he had one more ace in the hole, just in case.

[Dawn : Isle of Tortuga : Port/Oceanedge]
Dawn sighed softly when she heard Noelle. The girl was right, she supposed. She just couldn't help but feel some sort of loss with Louis being gone. Though Dawn prayed that there was a chance he would be safe, and maybe return to them.
"I am going to look for Joe..." she said finally. She wanted to find something for herself to do. Other then stand there.
Dawn ran in the direction Joe had went. After running a bit she found him. She slowed to a walk as she got closer. From what she could tell, he still seemed tense after that encounter with Kyle. Though she shouldn't of been surprised. He seemed pretty bent up before.
"Joe..." she said softly as she got closer, her hand came close to touching his shoulder to try and comfort him in some way, but she slowly pulled it away. Her eyes holding the same worry as her voice did, "Are you going to be okay?"
