Made up my mind to make a new start,

"More than I could have ever thought," Kaok said gratefully.
"Though I say that every time. If I recall, this is the second or third instance that you've helped me in such a manner. I only wish there were some way to repay you."
While waiting for a response, any sort of indication from Emma that she needed something, the Lieutenant eyed Grey - but said nothing to him.Someone told me theres a girl out there

Emma shook her head as she blinked rapidly to clear her eyes from more unshed tears. "I would not presume to ask for payment."
She missed Edgar terribly sometimes; he hadn't been...with her, not in the biblical sense, but he had been a dear, dear friend.

A light flickered in Grey's head, and he ran out of the room for a few moments before returning in a red outfit. "Nobody presumes the Spanish Inquisition!"

"You have helped me far too much, Lady Emma, for me to never have helped you in return." That strict code of honor again, it came from somewhere. William, came a sad thought... but after the ordeal, she tried to think on him further. "Very well, but if you're ever in trouble, know that I'm here."
The Faun looked around. "Perhaps not always in just this location, but you understand what I mean of course...."
Lt. Jayim stared at the red outfit on Grey.

Emma's warm tone changed almost instantly when she turned to Grey.
"Normally the humor and reference would be appreciated, but not right now. I pray that the misquoting was purposeful."

He shrank a little, and then slowly turned around and walked back out before returning in his normal outfit. He quietly sat back down on a barstool and sipped his coffee. He was very careful not to scorn them, as he knew quite well of the comparison between Hell and women scorned.

"Very well then, Lady Emma." The Lieutenant nearly smiled at the two, but she... well, she was still quite tired. "With that, I think I must leave."
"Goodbye, friend." She replaced the goggles from the counter on her forehead and stood, offering the Enchantress a handshake. "I can only pray I make it back to camp without collapsing."

"Farewell." She shook the offered hand firmly and watched as the Lieutenant took her leave.
"I ought to be going as well." With that, violet light gathered around her, and Emma of Bainbridge went home to her own sinner.

Grey looked out the door to make sure Kaokie was gone, and double-checked to see that Emma was gone. He went over to the bartender, whispered a few words, and slipped some cash. With that, he watched as the bartender got out a karaoke system. Smiling, Grey put in " Can't Smile Without You" and stood up next to the microphone as he began to sing...

The Imperator walked into the tavern just as Dr. Question began singing. At first he was quite taken aback by what the Doctor was singing and a look of confusion and crossed his face.
Remus looked at the two robots standing behind him. They shrugged and the three begin swaying to the song. In fact, Remus got up and begin singing along with the the Doctor, turning it into a well sung duet.
At the end of the song, Remus got down from the stage. "Er....I think its best we keep quiet about this, Doctor." Remus said.
With that, Remus quickly left the tavern.

Night was just falling as a chilly breeze swept through the Tavern.
There was no sign of anybody there, but a presence could be felt.

Grey looked around, as if sniffing the air. When he decided that the bar was vacant, he put in "Mandy" and started to sing.

Kaok had gotten a wonderful sleep after Emma's help, and was looking and feeling a lot better than when she'd walked in yesterday. She was out of uniform, too, and apparently quite relaxed.
She sat at the bar, ordered a tea and took the moment before it was prepared as an opportunity to read a tiny book with Lt. Jayim's name printed neatly on the cover in case she lost it. The text inside appeared to be in the French language. She had never learned a human language other than the one she spoke, nor did she know of any. But she had stumbled across the tongue, and the Faun was endeavoring to learn it.
