Lydia wrapped her arms around Kir when he lifted her up and hugged him, finding comfort in it. She had never hugged someone like this as far as she could remember.
"I said I'm okay," Chiasa said.

(^_^; Sorry. Kir was too focused on Lydia and Core's not there with her)
Kir looked down at Lydia and smiled. She never hugged him like that before. In the kitchen and away from the Academy talks, Kir put Lydia down on the countertop. He smiled to her, although he did get the impression that she wanted to hug him more. Well, it was fine by him. Which is why he kept himself close in case she wasn't finished.
Core looked at her in worry but kept walking.

Lydia looked up at Kir from where he had set her down on the counter. Then she hestitantly moved to hug him again, like she wasn't sure if it was alright.
Chiasa walked down the stairs and looked to the living room as she heard someone shouting.

Nikoli balled his fists. "You know what? Fine. You can sit here and b***h and moan and worry and not do anything about it- and you know what? It's only going to get worse. Inaction gets you nothing. Now I'm ready to head out right now and get some Recon on this place, but damned if any of you care to help."

Core stood still when he heard Nikoli, "...Recon...where...?" He asked, his eyes widened.
Kir smiled more and gave Lydia a better hug this time, putting his bag of candy on the counter so he could use that arm to hug her as well.

Aislin raised an eyebrow, surprised by all this yelling. She didn't get it, "So there's some sort of infection in the Academy building?"

Chiasa walked towards the living room, wondering what they were talking about.
"DO you want to know why we haven't tried something already?" Lily demanded, gritting her teeth. "Because if they get there hands on me or Kir or Lydia, we are ten times worse off than we were before! I'm not being inactive, I'm being cautious!"
"I'm scared..." Lydia admitted to kir after a moment.

Aislin shrugged, keeping her voice calm. She still didn't completely understand what was going on, "Then don't go. I can go. or I and several other people can go. But not if there is an infectious disease in the damn building."

Kir was scared too...unbelievably so. He was afraid for himself and for his daughter. He was so scared... "It will be okay. Nothing bad is going to happen..." He thought, not caring about the stress it was causing on his crystallis. He closed his eyes and it was like he was crying tears of blood.
"...Infectious...?" Core's eyes went hazy as he thought about what that meant. It couldn't have been that...There was no way...

Lydia buried her face into Kir's shoulder. "I don't want to be like that again," she said, referring to when she was activated.
"Core?" Chiasa questioned, seeing something was wrong with him.

Nikoli crosses his arms. "Then it's already gotten complicated. We can't just hide out anymore. It's time to take the fight to them. If you don't want to go, then don't. No one's forcing you."
