Yoru took in a breath of air and then sighed a he exhaled. "There is nothing to be done. The pain feels physical but it is not. It is more of a spiritual pain that cannot be heal or cast away. He is near... This is why my body is reacting like this. It is a warning to me."

"Do you want - would it be possible to let him take over now so I can sort it all out and stop the pain for you?" Nathan murmured, wincing as he asked. He hated asking at all, but he had to: he hated seeing Yoru in pain.

Yoru shook his head. "He is near but he cannot come into this body so long as the collar is connected to my soul. It prevents me from leaving it or having someone come in. I am sure he is looking for a way to communicate with you though. Just go to your training and stop worrying about me. I promise I will be fine."

He sighed. "Alright, I'll go to training now. But if you need me, promise you'll find me or contact me somehow. I need you to be alright, Yoru."
That said, he kissed Yoru's lips and then headed for the door.

"I will do!" he called back, closing the door behind him as he headed for the roof - his flying skills were rusty so he'd need time to catch himself before he hit the ground.
Or so he thought. Just as he was about to jump, the Angel from the other day appeared and swooped him up. Training was beginning and Nathan was late.

Yoru went to his bedroom and sat on the bed for a while. The pain only seemed to be getting worse which meant that the other was closer than he thought. It would only be a matter of time before he went to see Nathan and then Yoru fear that would be the end of him.

Nathan got home hours later, tired but feeling as though he had a way to protect himself now. He opened the door and looked around; since it was dark, he called out softly, "Yoru?"
