 ~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi smiled as Naminé agreed and thanked them. "You're welcome Naminé. We'll always be here for you," the Princess grinned. As Kairi turned to lead Sora, Naminé, and Roxas back to the square, she saw that Lakayna, Axel, and Ari had joined them. Good, now they just needed to find the rest of their friends. As they all walked, Lakayna asked the crimsonette if she was sure she was okay. The Princess smiled to the lavendernette and replied, "Yes, I'm fine. I just got knocked out for a few minutes from the sudden strong wave of emotions I felt from Naminé. Plus I was a little worn out from the battle. Thank you for asking though." As the red smiled to her dragon friend, she thought about what she had just said and realized something. Duh, no wonder she was worn out, she had healed everyone else, but she hadn't healed herself. The crimsonette let go of Sora's hand for a moment and summoned her Keyblade. "I should have remembered to do this earlier. This will make me feel better. Heal," Kairi said casting a cure spell on herself. She let her Keyblade disappear then grabbed hold of her boyfriend's hand once again, interlacing her fingers with his as she did so. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm the Master of Light and quite a big fright... Sora grinned softly at Naminé as Kairi reassured her that what he’d said was true. He had full intentions of helping his girlfriend’s Nobody through this. He hoped that Roxas cared enough for her that he would let her do this. He knew if Kairi was in this position, he would give her the space she needed for however long she needed it. But he’d probably still try to kill Riku, just because that was how the two’s friendship worked. They weren’t happy unless they had something to fight about or compete for. He pushed that thought to the side and stood, helping Kairi to her feet as she helped Naminé. Roxas had yet to reply, both through their link and verbally. He wasn’t sure what the Nobody was thinking, but he was eager to find out.
Kairi suggested that they end Halloween on a good note, and Sora whole heartedly agreed. Ending it with everyone crying or fighting wouldn’t be fun, and definitely not the reason they came here. So Sora took her hand and they all started to leave the graveyard. He gave a small nod to Naminé as she thanked them.
”Don’t worry about it Naminé,” he told her with a smile. ”Things like this always have their way of working out.” Almost unnoticeably, he raised Kairi’s hand, which was interlocked with his own. He winked, hoping she caught his drift. He completely felt that she and Roxas would end up together. There were so many people at Destiny High that would be interested in Riku, and he could find someone else without a problem and still be happy. But Roxas and Naminé were kind of bound to do whatever he and Kairi did, so if their Others were together, they had to be too. The brunette looked away to see where they were headed, and that’s when he noticed that Lakayna, Axel, and Ari were all there. Lakayna was concerned about Kairi passing out, but the princess told her that she was okay. She let go of his hand and healed herself, which he almost smacked himself mentally about. She’d healed everyone but herself, and she’d paid the consequences for it.
”My turn,” he said as the girl took his hand. ”Are you really okay? We could stop, take a quick break before getting back to town. I think I have a Potion or something you could use if you need it.” And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi looked away from Lakayna and turned to Sora as he too asked if she was really okay. Kairi's smile drooped a little, and she began to feel bad for making her friends worry. Her smile perked back up though as she tried to convince her boyfriend saying, "Yes Sora, I promise you. I'm really, truly okay. I'm just..." The Princess trailed off thinking about what she was. She continued, "I'm just a little tired I guess. A lot has happened today. And thank you, but that potion you gave me early on in the battle helped me enough. With that plus my cure spell I should be fine now. I'm sorry for making you all worry." The crimsonette leaned her head against Sora's shoulder hoping that he believed her. She then said, "A break would be nice, but we can go to town first. Then I can find a nice place to sit down and watch all the excitement for a bit before jumping back in." We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm the Master of Light and quite a big fright...Sora cast one more concerned look at Kairi as she told him that she would be okay. He sighed when she put her head on his shoulder, deciding to drop the topic and believe her. Besides, he’d be by her if she needed him. He could totally understand why she was tired. He was pretty exhausted too, but he probably had more energy than her. He was used to days like this, in fact, he was used to days a lot more hectic than this. But this had been a really crazy day in comparison to all of the other days they’d been having. The last busy day they’d had was when they’d gone to the Land of Dragons, and that was a couple months ago. So all the sudden action was taking a toll, but he’d be alright.
”Well, just take it easy for a bit, okay?” he asked the crimsonette. If anymore Heartless showed up, he didn’t want her taking part. She could sit the next fight out if there was one. But he guessed that they’d already taken care of all the Heartless in Halloween Town, so he wasn’t really worried about it.
Kairi pretty much agreed with Sora, in the end, saying she would take a break when they got to town. He hoped she kept her word, and he decided he’d soon find out as they were approaching Guillotine Square. So he led Kairi away from the crowd, pretty much taking Naminé that way too since Kairi was still holding her hand as well. That was okay, because Naminé probably needed some time to sit down and think, and she was more than welcome to join them. So Sora found a bench off on the side of town which had enough room for three people, and he sat down, gesturing for Kairi to sit down next to him so Naminé could sit on the girl’s other side.
”Oh, I don’t remember if I said this at all,” he suddenly began, catching sight of Jack and Sally dancing in the square. ”but Happy Halloween, guys. We’ve got to remember that’s what we came here for. And I think a lot of it has been pretty fun.” He was, of course, thinking about the Transpooker and all the times he and Kairi had spooked people. It really had been a good Halloween.And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi was relieved when Sora seemed to believe her. She couldn't blame him for worrying though. That just showed how much he cared. The Princess smiled. She truly was lucky to have someone like Sora. The brunette told her to just take it easy for a bit, and the red head hugged his arm and nodded, "Don't worry. I will." In no time at all the group reached Guillotine Square. So the crimsonette planned to do as she had said before, take a break and watch the others have fun. She looked around for somewhere to go, but her boyfriend was already a step ahead of her. He led Kairi, and Naminé since Kairi was still holding her hand, away from the crowd and found a nice bench off to the side of town. It had enough room for three people so the Keybearer sat down and gestured for his girlfriend to sit down next to him, so she could sit in between him and Naminé. The Princess sat down, and Naminé sat down beside her. It felt nice to sit down and relax. Kairi looked out about her friends and saw Jack and Sally dancing in the square. She smiled at the sight of them. The crimsonette returned her attention to her Other and her significant other as the latter spoke up. He said he didn't remember if had already said it or not, but he wished the girls Happy Halloween. He told them they had to remember that's what they came here for and that he thought a lot of it had been fun. "Mmm yes. Happy Halloween Sora! Happy Halloween Naminé! the Princess grinned. She continued to smile as she said, "Yeah you're right Sora. We do have to remember that. And yeah I do fun too." Kairi thought of scaring the town with the Transpooker, about how she had finally managed clear things up with Sora and they were now a couple, going around scaring people, and getting candy. Yes, all of that had been quite fun indeed. Kairi then closed her eyes for a moment and leaned against Sora, resting for a bit. She hoped he didn't mind. The Princess also gave Naminé's had a gentle squeeze. She was very happy sitting there with the two of them. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm the Master of Light and quite a big fright...Sora grinned at Kairi as she agreed with him, saying that she was having a good time also. He couldn’t argue with her there. After all, the best thing that had ever happened to him had been done here. He and Kairi were now officially a couple. He couldn’t be happier about that. He knew things were a little rough for Naminé at the time, which he knew wasn’t good. But hopefully all the fun times could kind of make up for that. Besides, he was sure things would work out for her in the end, thanks to what had happened in Halloween Town tonight. The brunette found himself yawning, so he looked up at the town’s clock. It was about 11:30. Halloween would be over in a half hour. He was a little torn by that. He was sad that the fun day would be over, but also glad that they would be able to go home and get some rest.
Sora soon felt Kairi lean against him, which made him grin even more. He turned his head to look at her and rubbed his thumb over the top of her hand.
”Sleepy?” he asked her, raising a brow. She did look tired. And if he was getting tired, than she must’ve been too. He looked away again to see Jack and Sally still dancing. He recalled the first time he’d seen the pair dance a year ago. He’d seen himself and a younger Kairi dancing in his mind when that had happened. He’d seen the younger version of his current girlfriend because, of course, that was how he’d remembered her. Now as he watched the pair, he saw himself and Kairi as they were normally back on the islands, matching the waltz the two were performing. Sora was no dancer, but he was willing to dance with Kairi if she wanted to. Now the vision changed, and he saw himself and Kairi in more formal clothing, like they were at some sort of ball. The Christmas Eve Ball… he thought, smiling to himself. That wasn’t too far off. Only two months. And then they’d be doing exactly what he saw in his mind’s eye. He would ask her to dance right now if she wasn’t so tired, but he knew she was tired, so he kept his mouth shut.((Wonderful SoraxKairi inspiration song))And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.The Princess felt Sora rub his thumb over the top of her hand, and heard him ask her if she was sleepy. "Maaaybe," the Princess smiled leaning in closer, her eyes still closed. She opened of of them and gazed up at the brunette and saw that he had a brow raised. The red head then opened her other eye and giggle. When it came to her, nothing got past Sora. Normally Kairi could stay up into the wee hours of the morning, but now with the exhaustion and the warmth of Sora and Naminé next to her, she had to admit she was getting a little sleepy. The crimsonette looked at Sora and asked, "How about you? Tired? I should be okay, but if I do some how accidentally fall asleep, you better poke me. And don't want to waste my last few moments of this Halloween sleeping!" ((That was such a cute song!! :3)) We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm the Master of Light and quite a big fright...Sora laughed lightly as Kairi told him that maaaaybe she was tired. Well, it was totally obvious that she was. He considered leaving right then and there so she could get some rest, but there was only a half hour left, so they could pull through. She asked him if he was tired, making him go from a happy expression to a defensive one.
”N-No!” he stuttered. ”I’m used to this kind of stuff.” He didn’t want to seem pathetic, like he, the great Keyblade Master, couldn’t take one day of action. He knew that was silly, and it was apparent that he could handle it, but he wanted to make sure Kairi knew that. Even though he was a tad bit tired. He felt Kairi bury her head further into him, so he released her hand for a moment to wrap his arm around her and pick up her hand to place in her lap. He pulled her a little closer, hoping to make her more comfortable.
Sora noticed very suddenly how warm Kairi was. She must’ve been naturally warm because of all the light inside of her. Sora had touched her, carried her, all sorts of things before, but this was the first time he really realized how warm she was. He was glad she was so near to him, especially now. She told him to poke her if she started to fall asleep.
”Don’t worry, I will,” he told her. ”But feel free to take a quick nap. Like five minutes or something. I’ll wake you up, promise. But if you want to even make it to midnight, you might want to take a break.” She had to be physically and emotionally exhausted between the Heartless fight and Naminé’s dilemma. So he wished she would take a quick cat nap. They weren’t doing anything at the moment, so there was really no harm in it. And he would make sure to wake her up before the night was over, because they had to get home anyway.And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi laughed as Sora stuttered that he wasn't tired, that he was used to this kind of stuff. "Yes, I know you are," the crimsonette nodded with a light chuckle. When she had leaned in closer to the brunette, he let go of her hand and wrapped his arm around her. He then pulled her closer, and the Princess sighed happily and relaxed more. Not only was Sora excellent boyfriend, he was an excellent pillow too! Kairi felt quite comfortable now, and she let her eyes close again. She smiled as the Keybearer reassured her that he would poke her if she fell asleep. He told her to take a quick nap if she liked and he promised he'd wake her up. As nice as that sounded the red head didn't think she could. She was perfectly comfy leaning on Sora with her eyes closed. She wasn't sleeping, but she still felt more rested this way. And talking to him comforted her as well. So she wanted to keep talking to him, and Naminé, as long as she could. The Princess gripped her Nobody's hand a little tighter to let her know she was still there if she wanted to talk. She hoped the blonde didn't think she was ignoring her when she had moved in closer to Sora. With her eyes still shut, Kairi continued talking to Sora. "So, how much candy do you think we really got today?" she asked with a giggle. She had asked him the first thing that came to mind. Since her pouch was packed with candy, the weight of it against her made that thought pop up. We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm the Master of Light and quite a big fright...Sora turned his head slightly as he felt Kairi relax even more into him. A small grin seemed to be permanently stuck on his face right now, since everything seemed to be perfect. He noticed that Kairi’s eyes had shut, so he supposed that she was going to take his advice and take a nap. At least, that’s what he hoped. He allowed himself to glance at Naminé for a moment. He hoped that, due to Kairi’s relaxed behavior, it was calming her down too. He wouldn’t be able to tell unless he asked, but he didn’t want to do that either. From the looks of it, however, she did look better. Suddenly, Kairi spoke, which made him frown slightly. He’d thought she was going to sleep, which would be good for her. But if she wanted to stay up, then he couldn’t make her go to sleep. So he would just have to talk to her, which was fine with him too.
Kairi asked Sora how much candy he thought they’d gotten. He stifled a laugh, thinking that this was completely random and funny that she would ask that now. He shrugged gently, so that it wouldn’t move her too much.
”I dunno,” he replied. ”We got a ton, so I guess a ton. Ha, but then again… I think we lost some to the Heartless. You know, maybe the Heartless don’t want hearts after all. Maybe all they need is some candy.” He chuckled lightly, wishing it was that simple. He knew that it wasn’t but maybe it would cheer Naminé up, saying such a silly thing. He’d have to try that sometime… just chuck some candy at them and see what happened. Okay, so he really wouldn’t do that, but he liked to think about it. He shook off that thought and looked back down at Kairi.
”You sure you don’t want to try some of those candied brains?” he asked. ”You know, you can’t knock it till you try it.” And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.The crimsonette gave a small laugh at Sora's response. He said he guessed that they got a ton, but lost some to the Heartless. He then added that maybe the Heartless didn't want hearts after all and that maybe they just needed some candy. Kairi replied, "Yeah we did get a ton of candy! I'm sure it's going to last us a while. And I think you may be right. That Heartless we fought liked candy. When it swallowed me, I was surrounded by lots of digested candy. Quite gross mind you." After a moment the brunette asked her if she was sure she didn't want to try some candied brains, saying she couldn't knock it till she tried it. The Princess opened her eyes looked up at Sora with a disgusted face. "No thank you! I know you're right, I can't knock it till I try it, but that's something I most definitely won't be trying. I think I'd rather be eaten by that Heartless again before ever trying that," she stated. Kairi smiled then laughed then added, "I'd much rather have a candied apple. That sounds much more appetizing."We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~

She said that maybe the Heartless did like candy, since the one she’d been eaten by had a whole bunch of digested candy inside of it. This made him frown, remembering the fight again. But he shoved the image away and just chuckled as she told him how gross it was. Then he made his comment about candied brains. This caused the crimsonette to actually open her eyes and look up at him. He hadn’t meant to actually wake her up like that. She told him that she would rather be eaten by a Heartless again then try one. He shrugged.
”Your loss,” he told her as if he’d ever had one. Then she told him she’d much rather have a candied apple. This gave him an idea.
Sora gently removed his arm from around Kairi and moved her from his side. He stood up and then turned to look back down at her.
”You know, I think I saw someone handing out regular candied apples,” he said. ”I’ll go get us some. One for you too, Naminé.” He didn’t want to leave the blonde out. So he turned on his heel and went off into the crowd to go find someone with candied apples. It didn’t take long, because the werewolf that had them had a ton of them since they weren’t interesting enough for most citizens. In fact, by the looks of it, he hadn’t even sold one. Sora walked up to him and asked if he could have three. The werewolf agreed with a smile, surprised that someone was taking one voluntarily. The brunette handed him some munny just to boost his spirits, then returned to Kairi and Naminé on the bench. He handed each one their apples before resuming his place next to Kairi. He didn’t put his arm around her, though, since his hand was all sticky from the candied apples. He started munching on his own before smiling at his girlfriend.
”You like it?” he asked. And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.Kairi continued to laugh when Sora told her it was her loss for not trying one. She knew he was teasing her. The Princess's laughter subsided though when the brunette gently removed his arm from around her, and moved her from his side. The crimsonette was a little sad, missing his warmth and comfort already, but maybe he was sacrificing his own comfort for hers. If that was the case, Kairi wasn't going to be selfish and would let him have his space. However to her relief, that wasn't the case. The Keybearer stood up and looked down at her saying he had seen someone handing out regular candied apples. He told her he'd go get some for the three of them, and with that he walked off into the crowd. Sora was so sweet. Even then he was thinking of her. The Princess turned to Naminé and smiled. "After all that's happened a nice candied apple sounds good right about now, huh?" she asked her Other. She wasn't sure if the blonde had ever tried one. If she hadn't, she was in for a treat. Sora returned in no time at all and handed the girls their apples. The red head grinned as he sat back down next to her. She took a bite of the sweet apple, enjoying the savory flavor. After munching on his own apple Sora smiled at her and asked if she liked it. "Mmm yes, very much. It's so good! Thank you!" Kairi beamed happily. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI'm the Master of Light and quite a big fright...Sora smiled, glad that Kairi liked her candied apple. He was carefully eating it, making sure not to get too much caramel on his face. That was kind of hard, and he failed to notice that some of it was gathering at the bottom of his apple. But he realized this very suddenly when it glopped into his lap. He squeezed his eyes shut in disgust before looking down to see the copper-colored sweet sticking onto his pants. He let out a sigh and rolled his eyes, then laughed at the irony of it all. He stood up and tried to brush the gooey stuff off, but wasn’t having much luck.
”I’m such a mess…” he breathed, exasperated, before laughing again. He excused himself for just a moment to go over to the fountain, scoop out a handful of the green water, and splashing it on his pants where the caramel was. It came right off, and his clothes absorbed the water so he didn’t look ridiculous. Finally, he returned to the bench and sat back down.
Sora was much more careful to finish off all the caramel before eating the actual apple. This was a different method, but it was still rather tasty. Once he finished it, he put the stick away to dispose of later and put his arm back around Kairi.
”So… now what?” he asked. ”There can’t be that much of Halloween left. I wonder what’s taking the others…” He trailed off, thinking about them. Hopefully nothing bad had happened. But he had a feeling that he’d know about it if something bad happened. So he didn’t worry about it and tried to think of something else to talk about.
”Yeah, so the kids back at school are never gonna believe what we did for Halloween, huh?” he asked. He just tried envisioning the Language Arts journal prompt he’d have: What did you do for Halloween? He might have to make up something lame so that the teachers didn’t think he needed to go to a mental institution. Then again, he wondered if his teachers knew about the adventures he and his friends had gone on. They had to by now… Maybe not. He’d just have to write the truth and see if they believed him, or if they told him to be “a little less creative next time”. And I'll scare you right out of your PANTS!

~Thinking of you, wherever you are.As Kairi ate she noticed out of the corner of her eye that Sora was having caramel trouble. He had managed to get it on his pants and it was coming off. He looked annoyed but he laughed all the same, causing the crimsonette to let out a small giggle. He excused himself for a moment to go wash it off. The Princess could see why he was having trouble though. The caramel, her favorite part of the treat, was kind of runny. Twice a bit caramel had almost fallen into her lap, but she managed to catch it in her hand and lick it up. She ended up having to do that with most of the caramel. Once the red head had finished her apple she got up, washed off her sticky hands, and pocketed the stick to throw away later. Kairi then sack back down between Sora and Naminé. She smiled when the brunette put his arm back around her. He then asked what now, wondering where the others were since there wasn't much of Halloween left. "Yeah," the crimsonette replied thinking of their friends, "We saw everyone else back at the graveyard, but I haven't seen Riku or Xion for a while now."Sora continued talking, saying that the kids back at school were never gonna believe what they did for Halloween. The Princess laughed, "Haha, yeah I know! They'll probably just think we have wild imaginations and made everything up. It wouldn't be the first time. Last year in math a boy had asked me where you and Riku were. When I told him the truth, he looked at me like I was crazy." We pray for our sorrows to end, and hope that our hearts will blend.~
