They both use a savage style of fighting, Croc can rip a vault door out of a bank, the Lizard is stronger than Spidey who can lift up a car. Croc is good underwater, the Lizard is above average in the water, but is superior on land with the ability to wall crawl. Intelligence varies, from usually from average to beast like, though something may tip the scales, Lizard has the ability to control reptiles, if it would affect Croc, well, don't know but it may be able to cause him to hesitate.

Yes, knowing croc he would want to fight him in water. At least bring him there by force.

The Lizard is no slouch in water, I mean he is basically always based in the sewer and probably has a splish splash of gator in him, he was first present in the Florida everglads afterall. Plus the crawling in such a tight place as the sewer would double the area he could fight from.

True but I can imagine Croc winning based on his sheer brute strength. I think I'll give this one to Croc.

He's not to much stronger than the Lizard, he's a few classes higher, that's about it, I'd count on the speed more. The Croc doesn't have the same range of motion as the Lizard, if he manages to get on Croc's back, would be hard to peel him off. Plus he's had the claws, tail, and teeth longer, before he started changing he just had rough skin and super strength.

But I would think that since Croc is much more of a fighter that it would give him more of an advantage. Lizard is a schemer more than anything in my opinion.

As the Lizard, he doesn't have the same intelligence as his human counterpart, his intelligence ranges from average to savage, just like Croc, he's definitely an attack first and ask questions later guy.

That's why they are both awesome.
On superhero in other media opinions: I don't like that Don Cheadle is going to be Rhodey in Iron Man 2. I was just getting used to TC Howard.
Also Justice League: The New Frontier completely sucks.
