Oh! And another thought about Jeopardy! surprised
Another possibility, is that Boss Man writes the questions (and answers) on note cards, puts them in an envelope, and mails them to me. Then we just won't open the envelope until we're actually at the MiniCon. And at that point, we can take a volunteer for the game host, on the spot. That or the original plan of him e-mailing them to the host, who would be picked in advance. Then the host would write them all down on note cards and bring them to the MiniCon. Either way would work.
Also, I think we should find another Xenite who isn't going, to review the questions and answers before B Man sends them off. Just to be sure that the questions are reasonable and make sense and that all the answers are 100% correct. 3nodding

BUT xena pretended teh be a irish goddess once 3nodding OH and she went teh ancient britain 3nodding ireland was part of that.... OR she coulda just gone there and they didnt say it was there 3nodding cuz theres lots of those irish twirly-ma-doos in xena if yeh pay attention 3nodding oh also mlila was celtic....so xena coulda stopped off there when she did deh stow away thing

In The Deliverer, they talk about it as Britania, but Boudicca (the real Boadicea) was very much Irish. And at one point they refer to it as "the island north of Gaul". England is directly north of France, but it's not an island. Ireland is. So, I'm assuming it was actually Ireland.

If I can figure out how Youtube works a little better I could possible make a Youtube video with like a full scale jeopardy board, where you click on the question you want (and it sends you to another video with the question), and you guys could pause it and then the answer would appear.
I don't know if I could do it, but I certainly could try if you are interested.

But I think just a potluck would be fine. Last time I tried making fried rice, it was awful. So I probably won't do Chinese. Northern Africa? Would anyone else eat the injera bread and spicy dahl if I brought it? Otherwise.. What? Grape leaf wraps? And for Rome. I wouldn't know if it's any different from Greek food nowadays. All I can think of that is specifically Roman is gelato. Spaghetti? Pizza? Alright. And the Norselands! Back when it was the "norselands", they ate meat, milk, and potatoes. If someone wants to bring those... Okie. Ireland/England. What comes to mind is fried fish, more potatoes, corned beef, spongecakes, and cabbage. That would make an interesting casserole. And I have no freaking clue what dish to make from Siberia. For real. A haunch of meat comes to mind. And maybe dumplings. So I'm still at a loss. I wouldn't be surprised if the one other guild member who will participate in the potluck knows either. gonk
