Maverick kept looking, until he found the body. "Over here Star." He said, moving his arm towards the corpse. He saw the symbol and looked at it with curiosity. "What do you think it means?" He asked her.

Maverick took the camera and snapped a few pictures of the symbol. "There. Now, once we get back to the school, we can analyze these photos." He said before placing his hand on the symbol. He started to say some latin, and his hand(as well as the symbol) started to glow.

Maverick stopped fopr a second to explain. "Well, i'm ridding the man of this symbol. I can't decipher what they mean, but each has a specific function. Some are even a portal to the human realm. I'm just making sure that this one isn't a portal." He said, turning back to the corpse.

Putting his hand back on the man's chest, it suddenly started to glow a red color. "Crap. That can't be good." Was all he said. Suddenly, a huge monster appeared in the room, with an intent to kill.  Maverick sighed and slapped his forehead. "Oh s**t." He said to himself
