Ava smiled and shook her head. "No trouble at all. She's a litte angel" she replied. She too a bite of the fruit and placed Leslie in her crib so she'd be more comfortable. "Driveshaft, you said? That was my favorite band!" she smiled and slowly rocked the crib with one hand, eating with the other.

"Really?"said Charlie his heart swelling up with pride. "How about I sing you one of our songs?" Hurridly Charlie sets his plate of food down and with excitement written all over his face he gets out his guitar.

lost_tolkienite Sawyer sad up against a tree, and started to re-read watership down. as he flipped through the pages, he couldn't quite stay on topic. his mind kept wandering, as he thought of everything thats happened the past month and a half. he looked up, and saw Heather standing in the sand looking around. He simply smirked, and looked back down at his book. But not before he took a second glance, and this time, smirked and shook his head at the same time. Heather tried not looking at Sawyer, but from the corner of her eye she saw him shaking his head. She looked over at him and saw that his lips were querked. "What are you smirking about?"

" thats none of your concern girl" he said, as he looked up to heather. he brushed his hair out of his face. " so I hear you've been looking for a date for that little group date thing?" he said with a smirk. " Isn't it kind of ironic, that a girl like yourself can't find someone to go with. after all this island is full of eligible bachelors. you've got Hurley, crazy old John Locke, or Mike. you've always got the other castaways as well." He was working his southern charm, but couldn't tell if it was working on Heather.

Heather's eyes went wide. "How did... I don't want to know. So what other cast aways are you talking about? Cuase I hardly know anyone here."
She said that as she looked around. Purpasly not looking at Sawyer. Sure he's good looking. But he is such a pain in the neck.

Charlie grinned at Ava and quickly turned to look at his guitar. She was very cute. "Never mind," he told himself, "just play something!" He started strumming chords on his guitar. He chose one of their mellower songs and started to sing the lead vocals. Even though they weren''t his he still new them.
Anger flared in Charlie as he remember the lead singer in Driveshaft. His "friend". The one who got him started on..."No!" Charlie shouted in his mind as he notice that he was not only playing louder than he meant to it was horribly out of tune.
Charlie looked up and Ava with an ashamed look on his face. "Sorry, ''bout that. I...um..." "Quick!" he thought, "Think up an excuses!" "I haven''t played this one in awhile. Let me start over." Charlie started back at the beginning of the song.

" well I don't know many either. Tend to stay to myself. If you might have guessed, I'm not very well liked around these parts, and it suits me fine." he put his book down, and looked up at Heather. "Well hey, if you don't find yourself a date soon, theres always me" suttle. that was smooth he thought to himself sarcasticly.

Ava chuckled and curled her legs under her.
"It's alright, don't worry about it" she said with a smile.
She quickly took another bite of a fruit and leaned against the pole of Claire's shelter.
