Jennifer_Walters Patsy Walker heh and of course, that CGI requires mega dollars to get down which means ticket prices keep going up. Plus the movie producers think that the movie won't be a sucess unless they get some big name in there. Hence they're paid ridiculous amounts of money. Again adding to the price on your ticket. What also annoys me is that they rate the movie by profit not by butts on seats. So as the ticket prices go up so the new movies keep breaking all those chart records. Very very true. It makes me long for another Blair Witch project.

Yeah, but with less hype. What ruined that movie for me was everyone said 'it's scary,' 'it will scare you sh*tless,' but it never. I found it entertaining but not scary.

It was the concept that sold me. I thought they did a fine job with what they had to work with and I'd love to see more done in a similar manner. I am certain that it can be beat, even with such restraints.

I think there should be more indy movie houses. Where local kids with a camera can showcase stuff for a couple'a bucks. Even the so-called "independent" films include big hollywood effects and budget on many occations.

I didn't care for Amelie. Not that it was bad, but not my cup of tea.
And these are still wide release films. I'm talking like, the kid down the street putting together a short. ******** Sundance, it'd be like city wide festival... *sigh* I wish I had a better camera.

Office Space was pretty good, although I'm not sure about the budget, casting Jennifer Aniston and all. Not that I'm complaining mind you, I love Jennifer Aniston.

She has my box set of the Slayers right now. I don't mind. The last guy I lent them to took about a year, but I still got 'em back.
