I configured the speed setting to near highest. Im sure I could go to the top and it would be even faster, but I am quite happy with what I am running with. : D
Control Panel>
Networks>
Right-click Cricket Modem
Properites>
Configure...
Speeds up to how ever you want it.
Dont configure anything else. You might hurt the modem. : O

I dont think they want the average person cranking speed demands.
Of course, this will probably negatively impact my next months speed.
(Internet providers lease a specific range of speed to you. Going beyond that will get you docked speed next month to make up for it. )
I think this process can be used on any modem, actually.

I thought it went Mbps. The higher your Mbps rate is, the more they charge. So Rei, I think you just added more Mbps to your moddem, and they can just charge for. That's how it normally works with Wireless. Also. Maybe Biology is a field I should have considered going into. Considering I just spent two hours doing research on ants. Then, I've read articles on These guys before. Bugs really don't bother me I suppose. - w -;;

Wiitchy woman hit it right on the nose. Smart one, her.
I simply maximized my Mbps rates, allowing the modem to go up to its full speeds.

Just remember to turn down your MBPS before the start of next month, or you'll be paying out the nose for the increased speed. At least with my ISP you'd have to.

In my case, they would just slow my service down severly.
But, in the case that I am using someone elses modem until its service dies, I dont really mind what the next month asks for.

I see. Well, mine stays at 54-60 MPBS. That's all I really need, because we just share one router that accesses. Surprisingly if I used my phone as a modem, I'd have 100MBPS. Much faster than my wireless now.

16. But I'm a geeeeeeek. XD I'm sure you'll be able to run laps around me by the time you finish majoring. So, how is the Computer Science / Engineering Field? A few people from my class went into that field. Jobs like that are in high demand these days. Also are you dealing with the Hardware aspects or the software aspects... or both?

From what I hear, Networking is in higher demand, but hardware and software working is still in demand as well, from what I hear.
It is fine. I am learning, keeping A's, though I cant say my heart is in what I do.
I may stop after my associates.

Nvm.
I hate this. I went to bed, and got seventeen posts during that time. This is really pissing me off. I just want this done and over with. So now I'm just going to go in there and Rick Roll EVERYONE WHO COMES IN.
