Felina blinked a few times taking in her new surroundings. The cell was slightly bigger than she first thought "Could you tell me what happened please?" She asked the guard

The guard smirked and nodded to his comrade who threw a copy of "The Miner's Monthly" through the bars.
The Title read "Elves declare war over slanderous accusations!"

"Right then lead the way Dargrim. We can come up with a plan later. And don't worry I intend to return this weapon once we are done" Seph stated ponting to the sword she picked up earlier

Felina gasped as she read the title "I see" She didn't know how to respond, so instead passed it back through the bars not wanting to read anymore.

Dargrim frowned "I hadn't noticed but it is ill-advised to steal from dwarves however I suppose give the circumstances you should have wan" he shrugged grabbed Oassu's glowing dagger and set off.
The guards laughed as they got back the paper. Another guard came up holding a silver platter.
The guards nodded and opened the door passing Felina's dinner through the gates "Enjoy Princess"

"I don't think the person was finished with it for it to be recycled" Hayate replied. He shrugged it off and kept walking.
Felina looked at the food suspiciously "Why don't you have some first and prove to me you haven't done anything to it"

Itaka raised an eyebrow "Recycled? How'd you work that out?"
The guard sighed and picked up the chicken taking a mighty bite out of the wing he chewed thoughtfully before puting the rest of the chicken back on the plate.
He wiped his sleeve and frowned "Ungrateful wretch! We don't even get this good food as guards" he sighed and stepped out of the cell

"Well the person was asleep and therefore not using it and letting it go to waste. I'm just merely giving it something to cut into rather than leaving it to rust" She replied.
Alpha lightly smacked the top of her head "You should just stick to the typical borrowing without asking terminology"

The guard at the door laughed
The guard in the cell turned his nose up at her.
"Fine if your so confident we'll see if you want food tommorow" he said picking up the meal and leaving the cell.
His comrades smile dropped as he proceded to eat the chicken in front of him.
Oassu smiled brightly "I agree with Alpha I coulda worded that better"

Felina slouched into the corner of her cell regretting that she lost her temper. It wasn't she was hungry, more thirsty.
Hayate watched the group conversation trying to work out things about them. They can think in italics, such people need watching.

Oassu raised an eyebrow at Seph "I'm an experienced Thief I THINK I can lie better than you"
Dargrim nodded "Indeed we have lost many travellers before to these roads as the creatures attacked them again"
The guards outside Felina's cell suddenly jumped to attention.
The armoured hulk that walked down the isle suddenly whacked the guard who had given Felina food with a gauntleted fist.
"Stealing the Princess' food eh?" he tutted before opening the door
"Greetings Princess I am Kargan your head guard during your stay at the fortress. Please...come with me" he said extending a gauntleted hand

"Ha. It takes two to lie. One to tell it, one to listen" Seph pointed out. She stopped walking a second. About 600 meters ahead was a small pack of Wolf type fiends "Looks like the normal fiends are waiting for us"
