"Hmm? Oh," Keegan sighed, looking from Jaeshan and then to the egg. He'd told his mother the egg was for him, and she'd given it to him for free. For a moment he contemplated making up a price, but the skeptical look on Jaeshan's face made him sigh. "You know what? Don't worry about it. We had an extra egg leftover from some of the orders we'd had to fill, and it wasn't much trouble." He smiled, standing up to retrieve his Pokemon from the nurse. Glad to have Themis and Artemis back in his possession, he made his way over to one of the empty couches and flopped backwards, ready to call it a night. "So put your money away, and save it for something useful, like TMs to teach that baby Torchic or something. Which reminds me..." he adjusted the cushion beneath his head, punching it down to make it more comfortable, "I think that Torchic's father was a Camerupt, so it'll probably have a couple of egg moves from him."
((I figure if no one else had to pay for an egg thus far, why should you? And since it's under my jurisdiction, I want it to have few egg moves ninja ))

Rin took the lead, the Ilex Forest was practically her seond home. A few Caterpie were climbing trees and some Pidgy flew on by. She took a deep breath in, enjoying the cool, damp forest air. After a few minutes the duo passed by the small wooden shrine. It looked run down and covered in ivy and vines. Rin froze, her eyes looking intently at the area around it. The tree that was blocking her view earlier that morning was gone, burned to be precise. The black ashes were in a small pile where the tree once stood. There were more burned markings on the floor as if a fight with fire had broken out. I hope they didn't get it. They couldn't have could they? "Uhh, let's go Miharu...we're almost there," she said, her voice held a slight hint of worry.

Maven walked through Saffron City getting her bearings on everything she made sure Phyra was out with her didn't like to keep her locked in a pokeball. The two walked all around and around the outside of the city.
When out of the city Maven jumped up Phyra and the two ran around the city. Maven wanted to let Phyra stretch her legs out

Shino continued to suck life energy from the tiring meowth. While meowth was distracted began running to his bag. He finally reached it and smirked. Z decided to check if everything was still inside. He reached inside and in the dim light found Shino's pokeball and his pokedex. "Great it's all here." Z said seeing that all his other items were still in his bags as well. "Good job Shino! Use a silver wind to finish him off and send him flying!" Z said grinning and Shino released his hold on the meowth. "Nincada!" It yelled as it flapped it's small wings and fired a blast of wind from his mouth. into Meowth's belly. This sent the meowth flying straight at Z. The meowth crashed into Z sending them both back at a tree. Z let go of the pokeball and it landed on meowth's head. The meowth was pulled into the ball in a red light. Z looked down and saw that the ball he had been holding had just been one of is normal empty pokeballs and he had gotten confused becasue of the darkness and because he was tired.

Kilik drummed his fingers on his lap. His backpack felt strangely lumpy and disfigured with the collapsable bike inside of it. He shifted his weight, groaning slightly. The conversations of the people around him had become even less interesting than before, with topics now revolving around some kid named Brendan and his climb through the Hoenn Elite Four. Granted, it was amazing that someone had taken the challenge, but Kilik was focused on defeating the League he had the most badges for: Kanto.
The boy smiled at the image that appeared in his head. He was in the Stadium, having just defeated the Champion. He was holding up a magnificent trophy, surrounded by his Flareon and Weezing. And there was a girl there. A girl with blue hair. She was clapping and leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek.
His eyes shot open and he sighed. "Like that'll happen again..." he whispered to himself.

The meowth began to struggle to get out of the ball. The pokeball began to rock until finally the button flahsed red to say that the meowth was fully captured. "Cool." Z said before falling over and going to sleep on the grass. Shino jumped onto and pulled all of his stuff closer so that he could gaurd them through the night.
" . . . s he okay?" "I think so." "Maybe we should wake him up." "Whatever." Z slowly began to wake up to these voices. "ugh!" He grunted as he sat himself up. He was dirty and his back hurt. The thing that annoyed him most though was that his hair was not perfectly styled. He then noticed that the voices were Lyn and summer whe were standing in front of him. Z felt embarassed looking so messy in front of summer. "What happened?" He asked yawning and stretching his arms. "You were not there when we woke up then Shino came and led us to you." Lyn said looking a little annoyed at the fact she had had to run here to find Z.

Dante ended up looking around in the pokemart for about a half an hour befor he finally wondered out his bag heavier with stuff and his wallet considerably lighter. Before going back into the pokemon center though he decided to use the TM's, and HM that he had bought first. He figured if he didn't do it now then he would most likely forget to do it later. Calling Bahamut down from where she was flying around still smacking happily at the gum that had long ago lost flavor. Next he took out two more pokeball's and tossed them down to reveal the black and white Ponyta and a sleepy looking ghost pokemon. He grinned at them all and held up 4 disks. "I have present's for you." The pokemon befor him brightened up considerably.
After a few moment's and three useless disk's in the trash and his new HM back in it's case and four new moves had been learned. Kenny had learned Double Team to add to his all ready high bit of evasion what with being a ghost and all, Apollo had learned Flamethrower, and Bahamut had learned Fly and Steel Wing. Putting the two back into there pokeball and keeping Bahamut out since she wouldn't bite anyone anymore he headed back inside the pokemon center to see Keegan talking to Jaeshan who was holding his new egg happily. Grinning he walked over to them and stopped in front of them placing one hand on his hips. " So do you guy's never sleep?"

Upon hearing Mitsu's comment about helping him repair the gym he waved it off. "You dont have to do that. I am going to call who ever is in charge and have someone come over so that they can redo that whole part of the gym. I am kinda sick of repairing things after everybattle." He explained. Looking up from the paper he was reading he gave her a small smile. "I just want you to know that I really did enjoy our battle together. You can come back anytime you want." With that being said he turned back to his paper.

"Okay. I'll look forward to our next match," Mitsu said turning to head out the door. Spotting his Pokenav on the counter, however, she grabbed it quickly exchanging number before waving goodbye and heading out the door. If he has kids, they sure are lucky to have him as thier father.
She took a deep breath of the Littleroot Town air. It was refreshing and nice. "Now to get back to Lavaridge," Mitsu said flipping open her Pokenav. "Lavaridge is far away," she whined. She let loose a rather large sigh, she didn't feel like treking up there and Karri couldn't bring her back any longer for some reason she refused to say. Zyphyr wasn't big enough to fly on yet. "Looks like we're walking," she groaned. "Or not!" she said remembering that she had brought along her Mach Bike. It didn't take long to find her Mach Bike in her bag. After spending a few frustrating moments remembering how to unfold it she was off, heading off to Rustboro.

((Aww. Thanks Andy! whee And just what egg moves do you have in mind? O_o))
"Wha?" Jaeshan paused, nearly dropping his wallet. "I can't just take it for nothing." He stared at Keegan in astonishment. "And what do you mean, egg moves?" He was still trying to take it all in as he shoved his wallet back in his pocket, and sat down again. The egg made a delightful little sound as he picked it up, and held it close. "But honestly, Keegan, this is too much." He pulled a spare shirt out of his backpack and swaddled the egg with it. Since it was a baby fire Pokemon, it was already nice and warm as it was. He glanced down at it again, wondering when he'd get to meet the little Torchic.

Miharu had seen that shrine dozens of times before, but she paid it little attention as she passed it, her eyes on some of the bird Pokemon that flew by. She remembered well how tough Falkner's two birds had been. If it hadn't been for Tingle's nearly impenetrable, steel body they would have won handily. Her eyes followed a Pidgey as it pecked at the ground, hopping along as it looked for an early lunch. Sensing that Miharu was watching it, it gave a loud chirp before it flew up and landed in a high tree branch, watching the two trainers as they passed underneath it.

((Oh, you'll see. Or do I have to get them OK'd first? I imagine you could have fun with them, though, trying to keep Torchic in check XD))
"Egg moves are special moves passed down from the father. It's a genetics thing. I don't really understand it myself so I tend to just go with the flow. You know, don't question it. It's the reason that Helios knows Heat Wave." He met Jaeshan's still-skeptical look. "If I didn't want you to have that egg, I never would have carted it all the way from Lavaridge to here, in Kanto. And if you're really that uncomfortable accepting it for free, then just think of it as you owing me one." Keegan stretched out, and closed his eyes; glad he'd said his piece. He'd seen Jaeshan battle before, and knew he'd take good care of the baby once it hatched. The egg was out of his hands, and as far as he was concerned it was mission complete.

((I really think it'll depend on the moves, but if I know you, I think I know which ones you have in mind. XD))
"Keegan, I..." Jaeshan sighed, and placed the egg on the couch again, swaddling and all. "Thank you so much!" he cried, springing from his seat and throwing his arms around Keegan, even though he was lying down. "I'll take good care of it. I promise! And I'll never forget this," he gushed, unable to control himself.

M.A. started to return to the PokeCenter, still in a state of awe after having seen just a minute of Flannery's battle. Sure, she had seen other trainers battle amongst themselves, and had seen Michael's strong Pokemon plenty during his contests, but a real gym battle, with such awesome power. . . That was definately a first for her, and she suddenly felt motivated to become just as strong, one day. Then, she could hold her head up with quiet pride and confidence, just like so many of those trainers and coordinators out there did, and have Daemyn by her side, just as proud. Though no one really could hold their heads too high just right there, next to the herb store she just passed by. Those plants smelled so bitter!
She was abruptly reminded that Daemyn might not stay with her, however, once they reached Johto; her heart sobered then, and she entered the building with a more subdued spirit than before.
Houndour was still napping, a peaceful snore emitting from his throat. M.A. remembered that labored breathing just this morning, and smiled serenely to herself; she'd really have to thank Nurse Joy again later. How she and Blissey healed him so completely, she'd never know. A muffled ringing from her backpack, however, took her away from the little room and into the outside hall.

It was a call from home on her PokeNav. "How's it going, darling?" her mother asked anxiously, like a hen that had just lost a chick. "Where are you? Are you alright?"
M.A. laughed, a girlish, pretty sound to her mother's ears. "I'm fine, fine, Mom; you don't need to worry, really! We're in Lavaridge right now."
The voice on the other side seemed to have been soothed by this response. "That's good. How's your journey been so far?"
"Er. . . not too eventful," M.A. answered evasively; she didn't want to bring up the Murkrow incident. If she did, she had a feeling her mother would march to Lavaridge and drag her home by her ears, ranting about how dangerous traveling was.
"Here's Michael, he wants to see how you are -- (rustle) So my baby sister's in Lavaridge, huh? Seen the gym there yet?"
"Yeah. It was pretty awesome." M.A. was glad to hear Michael's warm, brotherly voice, too glad to really rebel against his calling her his 'baby sis'.
"Don't you worry your little head, you'll grow to that level too. How's Houndour? Catch any Pokemon yet?"
"He's great, Michael, really. He's opening up to me, I'm so glad; we've even decided on a nickname, Daemyn. But no, I haven't caught any. . . "
"So slow, M.A.! I'm just teasing," Michael quickly added the last bit, almost feeling M.A.'s fume through the phone. "That's great, that that little pup's finally warming up. Take care of him, and yourself, too, alright?"
"'Course. C'mon, you know I'm not that little five-year old who fell in the well anymore."
"I know, I know. Love ya."
"You too."
