Now can someone explain to me the pistol thing? I heard that it counts as an extra attack in close combat, but I thought it was for shooting on the way into chopping people up.

Oh and what is sweeping advance?

Quit asking for rule FAQ's, just buy the damned rulebook. No bullshit, just buy the book.

I cant buy the rulebook brookman, that is why Im so desperate.

Seriously that shouldve been the first thing you did. A rule book comes first. If you own any 40k stuff, which i believe you said you had the codex, then yes you can buy it because obviously youve got that. If you cant od that borrow someone's. Hell, even borrow a third edition at least youd have a general idea of what to do in 4th.

Honestly Im not too bothered by a question here or there, but you cant ask for the entire thing to be spelled out to you on here. Save up $40, buy one, or a used one, or borrow one.

Just DON'T ask for rules here. We are very lenient on things, but asking for rules is not part of the deal around here. You get a rulebook, one way or the other. If lacking funds or whatever, turn to the internet. Just not this place.

Meh too many kids play with Khorne. Its too 'simple'. Play Slaanesh then you'll have an army that can beat Khornate armies into the dust with shooting and combat ability. Or play a Thousand Sons Tzeench Army and learn the power of multi wounders. Though i'll never play Nurgle disease and filth just aren't on my agenda whereas mutation, change and pleasure from every sensation are just what i'm all about!

Or play a Thousand Sons Tzeench Army and learn the power of multi wounders. Though i'll never play Nurgle disease and filth just aren't on my agenda whereas mutation, change and pleasure from every sensation are just what i'm all about!

I agree. Khorne is my least favourite army, but they could have some nice champions. The recent aspiting champion with the khornate icon brazened onto his face for a mask was inspiration for a short story.

Plastic models feel too cheap to me, personally. I like Chaos and Daemonhunters, and the factions I play have little to no plastic parts.

I like a weighty moel, not just a penny in a base.

I prefer a penny/lead weights in a base, personally. I mean, a weighty model is nice and all, but it's better when the weight is properly distributed so the model doesn't fall over all the time, like the old pewter Stealth Suits in the Tau line.
