hi new to eldar and I need to ask two quick stupid questions
1. the aspect warriors.. are most of them metal? I hate the stuff and my glue sucks and holding it together.
2. the Autarch ( how ever you spell.pronounce it)) I was reading the rules and I want one riding a jet bike, with a scorpion blade, mandiblasters adn a rocket launcher... how do I go around building him.. do I have to cannibalize a bunch of little guys?

With your Autarch, just about the killiest combo that I've seen is Jetbike/Fusion Gun/Power Sword and then Haywire grenades if you've got the spare points.

GamerChik240 2. the Autarch ( how ever you spell.pronounce it)) I was reading the rules and I want one riding a jet bike, with a scorpion blade, mandiblasters adn a rocket launcher... how do I go around building him.. do I have to cannibalize a bunch of little guys? Depending on the opponent and setting, models are required to be WYSIWYG. Though what you can do is mount the model on a jetbike, give him the proper helm and blade, then stick the rocket launcher to his bike.

What You See Is What You Get
a rule intended to boost sales by forcing you to buy every bit of equipement your character has, with possibly 4 or 5 sets to spend... officially it is supposed to stop players springing two handed weapons or power fists on unsuspecting opponents

WYISWYG isn't so much a sales boosting scheme as it is an important part of the hobby and game.

well I like having the models decked out in what they have and I thought it would look hilarious to have this eldar guy waving a sword over his head missile launcher in one hand and driving a jet bike through mysterious means do you think there's any chance the eldar will get more plastic sets anytime in the some what near future?

Pardon the late reply. sweatdrop
But from what I understand there is still an Eldar jetbike remake out there that should be released some time. No date has been pinned. It does look good though, a real Goodwin design.

Allow me to pose a question:
Vypers
If they were able to move like Eldar Jetbikes, would you take them then despite their 45pt cost base, and BS3?

Nekage Allow me to pose a question: Vypers If they were able to move like Eldar Jetbikes, would you take them then despite their 45pt cost base, and BS3? imagine that: move from behind cover-shoot-move behind cover on a vehicle that is small enough to hide completely behind a ruin or a large rock definitely worth it imho and thats why its not gonna happen

Why not? If the Tau can do it then so should the Eldar.
The model could use a revamp while we're at it, it is looking rather clunky in this day and age. sweatdrop

The Hornet is indeed an excellent replacement for the Vyper. I'm told that the upcoming Lynx might be more of the same, but with even more of a punch packed into that little frame.
edit.
Whoever painted that gorgeous studio model: heart Beautiful! They once again show off their superior airbrushing skills!
